With how bad this simple job was executed, I have to imagine every worker at this "shop" is a current or former .gov employee.

The furthest "stud" in the picture has absotuley been replaced with what appears to be a bolt. You should remove the tire and plastic liner to see what kind of fukkery they performed under there.

Good lord.

Actually ended up getting this all remedied by a great shop called custom classic automotive in Island Lake, IL. They replaced the studs and everything is like new. Keeping and enjoying the car. Cheers.

Was the first shop's name ever dropped?... So I can make sure I avoid them and can let everyone else know to avoid them as well.

OP sent me the name way back in January, it’s a shop that’s pretty close to me. I know the name but have never had any work done there. It’s in Batavia.

OP, if you ever need work done, I would suggest Geared Up Motorsports in New Lenox, they are great guys over there and actually care about their work and stand behind it. To me, it would be worth a drive if necessary.

Honestly was just feeling lazy at the time and car was already with them for other reasons.
