Thank You Pakman, this is Exactly what I have been saying since I started this thread. Some people just don't want to believe it. I'm still standing by my Theory, and the video you posted just adds fuel to the fire. I never once thought the excuse that the difference was due to Pre Production, other than the fact that those cars were Pre Production Units with Adaptive Cruise Control. I even went as far as pointing out the LED Warning Strip in the Dash on one of the GT's with the Mismatched Grills, but again it was brushed off as just being Pre Production. Even Tricia has replied She doesn't know how to explain the difference, because of the information Ford has given her.

Also for those in the Camp who believe the Different Lower Grill is a Difference between Base and Premium GT's notice that that car also has the Two Tone Black Diffuser ...
I was gonna say "Tampa figured this out months ago" lol

As if all pre-production cars are 100% feature perfect.

It's not an ACC grill. Maybe I'm wrong, but it won't be the first time, nor the last.

I'm with you. Even Ford (through Tricia) has said that it isn't the ACC grille. It's simply the V6 grille, and is also used in the LE and 50 Years cars.

the car above (magnetic) has the normal grille with PP wheels...so it must be a GT and it has the different lower grille. So how is that explained then?

Then Explain the Premium Trimed, Guard GT That Just Rolled Through the Production Line behind Joe Hindrichs head in the Bloomberg Video... Clearly it's Not a V-6, or a Limited Edition, and Doesnt have the 50th Appearance Package either, yet it HAS GOT the Linear Lower Grill with the Blanked Off Outer Ends. Tricia actually Didn't Clear it Up, she said she was told ACC Wouldn't Change the Appearance, but She wasn't sure how to explain a Normal GT With the Different Non Fanged Lower Grill. Yet There Goes One Down the Asymbely Line.

Do you know if it has ACC or not? That's right, you don't. You are supposing, just as you have been all along.

You might be right, but Ford says you are wrong and the B&P website says you are as well. When I see cars with ACC showing up with that grille I'll say you were right. Until then I'll cordially disagree with you.

Well it doesn't have the 50th AP, and that is the ONLY package that explicitly states it changes the grill. Therefore the conclusion would be that it is an ACC grill. The magnetic/guard (horrible lighting in that picture to really tell) in TB pic is a production car. The slotted Grill is the grill that comes with ACC.

If you don't like it buy a new grill insert for $80.

Hmm, sorry I missed that the first time through. So, it appears it's not only the LE/50th appearance lower grill, but also the ACC lower grill.

It's definitely not JUST the ACC grill as the LE doesn't have ACC. But the fanged lower would look funny with a non-fanged upper grill.

Mark one more time I was wrong.

Lol you're right, I guess the "proper" way to say it would be: That is the grill that comes with the car, when ordered with ACC.

But like I said, it's cheap to replace anyway.

The GT that Motor Trend tested appears to have ACC (looking at the steering wheel in their pics), and also has the different lower grill! I think we're getting more proof here....
Same is true for the PP EB car they also tested, also stated to have ACC.

FROM MOTOR TREND'S Eco Boost Article...

Our EcoBoost was fully loaded, with heated and cooled seats, adaptive cruise control, dual zone climate control, and so on.

Note the Adaptive Cruise Control Switches on the Steering Wheel

Note the Linear Lower Grill with the Flat Blanked Off Outer Ends...

FROM MOTOR TREND'S GT Review.

Pricewise, our 2015 Mustang GT Premium tester's $46,380 sticker represents what would happen if you rolled into your local Ford dealer and ticked every option box. Some of the more notable options include the new-for-2015 Adaptive Cruise Control with Collision Mitigation package, which retails for $1195, and the imaginatively named Rapid Spec Equipment Group 401A, which includes blind spot warning with rear cross-traffic alerts and a premium audio system, for $1795.*

Note the Adaptive Cruise Control Switches on the Steering Wheel. ..

Note the Linear (Non Fanged) Lower Grill with the Flat Blanked Off Ends on the Lower Grill...

It's OK... You Can Say It.... :D
