  1. Need help with CANBUS hack for LED HUD

Here’s the thread I did for the mod: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/additional-led-hud-mod.90852/#post-2007909
  2. Need help with CANBUS hack for LED HUD

I ended up wiring it up with a a separate LED strip but used the same existing HUD housing. Actually like it better anyway, as I used blue LEDs for my radar detector notification while the ACC is still the same red led from the factory. here’s a video of it. I think I did a DIY thread on here...
  3. Shifter rattles bad... Any suggestions to eliminate it?

Correct. Since it deletes the reverse collar, there is nothing to rattle :)
  4. Shifter rattles bad... Any suggestions to eliminate it?

I switched to the Barton full shifter and love it. Gets rid of the collar altogether as it’s a push down style reverse.
  5. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

thanks guys. After much thought and looking around the web, I think I’m gonna go with this: Wheels: SVE SP2 gloss graphite staggered setup Tires: MICHELIN PILOT SPORT 4S Front: 19x10 285/35/19 Rear: 19x11 325/30/19
  6. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

Awesome, thanks! I didn't realize they were that much different between Mach 1 and SP2. I was debating on getting Mach 1 wheels, but I like the SP2/PP2 style better. Decisions!
  7. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

I'd be okay doing a square setup, but since I prefer to maximize the meat in the back for traction, and prefer not using spacers up front, perhaps I need to rethink my plan (which is why I'm glad you guys are willing to help me out!) I'm also only planning to track it probably once a year for...
  8. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

Looking at these wheels for my 2015 GT vert. I've upgraded to Brembos but otherwise suspension is stock (for now). I have a Procharger on her so I need some meaty tires, and will be doing some track days this summer so time to ditch the factory 20s and allseasons! Few questions: I'm looking to...
  9. Heated Steering wheel retrofit for 15-17 completed (Plus 18's and up)

Its funny, being in Colorado I don't even drive my Mustang in the winter, but I really wanted the heated wheel for top-down driving since the sun here makes it really nice for top-down driving but can still be a bit chilly ambient. My hands are always cold so the heated wheel on a convertible on...
  10. Heated Steering wheel retrofit for 15-17 completed (Plus 18's and up)

Great call @db252 ! I contacted Forscan support and they promptly responded with a fix! Turns out they hadn’t built in support for HSWM for 2015s, only 2016-17 for some reason. They sent me a test build today and I finally got it working! Of course when I tucked everything back in I...
  11. Heated Steering wheel retrofit for 15-17 completed (Plus 18's and up)

I had read somewhere when researching, though not sure it is true, that vehicles with adaptive steering and/or ACC are different in regards to the HSWM. But the wiring diagrams for a 2018 Mustang seem to be all the same so I doubt that applies here. I did post on the Forscan forum and someone...
  12. Heated Steering wheel retrofit for 15-17 completed (Plus 18's and up)

Has anyone put this on a car with ACC? What about a convertible? Those are the only variables I can think of that make my application somewhat unique and perhaps limiting what I can do with it. Have a strange feeling maybe the BCM or Gateway cannot handle a new module because the convertibles...
  13. HOW TO: Swap PP gauges into standard model

Mine was off like yours but was able to force the vents in without having to cut anything.
  14. Heated Steering wheel retrofit for 15-17 completed (Plus 18's and up)

Just for my sanity, can someone please confirm which wire on the CAN test ports should go to which in the HSWM? I believe the purple wire is MSCAN - and the gray is MSCAN +. Matching that up to the HSWM diagram that puts the purple wire to terminal 3 and the gray to terminal 4. I noticed in the...
  15. Heated Steering wheel retrofit for 15-17 completed (Plus 18's and up)

Yeah it’s strange. Module is getting power just fine, I’ve reset the modules and re-scanned vehicle multiple times in Forscan (something I saw on F-150 forum when people had similar issue). I can’t start the car yet since I have the engine half apart for my Procharger install right now. I’m not...
  16. Heated Steering wheel retrofit for 15-17 completed (Plus 18's and up)

Alright so I did this swap along with the PP gauges and digital dash. I got everything programmed in Forscan it seems except for the HSWM. I don't even see that module in there. It should automatically recognize the module if wired in properly, correct? I believe it is wired up correctly, but...
  17. Colorado 2015-2017 GT JLT Cold Air - special-ordered yellow

Had this on my 2015 Mustang GT for 41k miles. This was ordered back in 2015 when JLT used to offer special order colors for the tubes. This looks great on my triple yellow! You can’t even order the special colors anymore but it was an additional $50 option back then. Have the MAF screws and...
  18. Colorado 2011-17 GT/GT350 JLT passenger oil separator - black

Had this on my 2015 Mustang GT for 41k miles. In great shape I just went forced induction and got a different unit specific for that setup. Has minor blemish as shown on photo but you don’t even see that when installed in the car. $100 plus shipping
  19. HOW TO: Swap PP gauges into standard model

Wild. I went to do this swap and found an odd connector that was snapped into the back part of the dash behind the Sync screen. It plugs right into my new performance gauges! Nice surprise that I don’t have to do the wiring and connector to the APIM. Hopefully I can still return the connector...
  20. Heated Steering wheel retrofit for 15-17 completed (Plus 18's and up)

Should be good to tap into the white wire for F37 since that's what the 2018s do and maintain the same 15A fuse for the entire circuit.
