I got mine last August 2025 out the door for $63,969 with 2,135 miles. Car is loaded, 2022 Mach 1 Premium, 700a, Tremec, Handling Package, Elite Package, Security Package, Recaros, Navigation, 4G LTE Hotspot. Only factory options missing are rear seat delete, red calipers and car cover. Though, I have the rear seat delete and car cover sitting in my spare room directly from Ford lol.

I thought so as well, trying to see how far down it comes if any before it sales. They have had it listed for over 70 days and the price has fluctuated up and down several times.

Some of these prices are still crazy considering you could get a new Mach 1 for 2% under invoice. They've held value really well. My 2022 order for a 700A, HP handling package, Elite was $58,329 with Granger.

I think Ford hit the nail on the head with the S550 Mach1. Ford " likely " will never build anything like it again. The S650 platform and beyond are for me too futuristic. The prices will speak for themselves.
I feel these cars are an instant classic. They will be collected as unique "car show" cars AND sought as well-sorted, track ready cars. An alignment, tires, fluids, and brake pads are all they need to hit the track. They are the right amount of analog and digital.

One thing that makes this a weird market, is that there's nothing on the market that's getting people to dump the M1s for the next great thing. People were dumping Boss 302s to get into S550 GT350s. That's when I bought my Boss. That market turned around as some felt the Boss to be a better car. Many held on and the 350 owners did much the same when the GT500 appeared. And now...there's no where to go...so I'd say that is why the Mach 1 values continue to hold.

I bought mine equipped just like yours but auto trans two years ago for $55k. Seeing some used 2025 Dark Horse HP's for high 60k's and saw a new 2025 HP for same... Non HP Dark Horses new and used for low to mid 60k... Point being Mach 1 is a great car for the price and the DH's seem to be sitting on lots for a long time. The new 2025 DH HP I saw for high 60k has been sitting for over six months... Soooo glad I scooped up my Mach 1 when I did.

Except the Dark Horse is almost exactly what the Mach was, so Ford did indeed build something just like it…

Previously, I'd posted some pricing data.

Attached are the number of Mach 1s and DHs on offer at Autotrader.

Autotrader is predominantly dealers, new and used sales.

Drove a DH last Oil change. Was curious. Nice car. My Mach felt more classic mustang feeling, where the 650 is nice except for the screens, and the dash lost the entire Mustang feeling. To me, It did not at all feel like the Mach 1. The Mach 1 feels more muscle car. The 650 feels like it wants to be more refined than that, like more “insulated“.
Thank goodness, because my insider info says they’re swapping dead screens out like crazy on the S650.

Exactly my thoughts too..... On the surface, the DH for sure is a gas powered V8 500 hp Mustang. I spend quite a bit of time with my morning coffee looking at cars online - the DH would be an option if I were in the market for a performance vehicle (especially over, say, a C8 Corvette).

But...... I feel that the Mach 1 looks and FEELS like a muscle car. I have described it to others as the Mach 1 is more of a loud, in your face, bombastic here I am vibe whereas the DH has lost a bit of the Mustang muscle car heritage. I mean, Boss, Mach, GT350, GT500, Bullitt = giddy up and there is thunder involved.

The DH, yeah, it is 500 HP off the showroom floor. But man I think it is just lacking a bit.... I think it is just a bit too.... modern?

Regarding the tablet dash screens; maybe (in a perfect world) the DH could have been ordered with a "retro" dash and "next gen" dash so those who prefer the past gen set up could have that config and those (perhaps younger folks) who spend all day on their phones could have the tablet set up. But I know that this concept would be an engineering and manufacturing impossibility.

Ok, gotta go. My Mach 1 needs to be fueled up and I must burn off the remaining gas in the tank before filling up 😁
