Current Mach 1 Price Trend?

Hello all, curious as to what people would assume a fair price to be for both a Non HP Mach and a HP Mach manual with same options:

10-30K miles
Clean title no accidents 1-2 owner
Cloth or leather Recaro seats are the must have.
Elite or 700A packages do not really matter to me nor do the painted calipers. If it has any of those it is just bonus.

I'd say if I was leaning on color Grabber Blue, Eruption green, Either of the oranges, would be top choice, but honestly any color other than Black, yellow, and misch purple is where I am at.

So far I have saw a very wide range from about $48,500-$66,000. Just trying to get an idea for what is considered fair in the market today. JD Power says for the manual HP people are paying in the $53,000-54,000 range on average. I'm starting to try to build my research and pricing off of that model.

Any help or other research info is appreciated.

That range is fine because in the end it boils down to condition and trim level. HP + Mint + low mileage = big dollars. Subtract for mileage and less than mint condition and non HP.

Auction data, I generally trust for most "normal" cars. Remember buyer pays a fee on top final bid price.

As a seller you will generally do better than dealer trade in value at BAT. Removed the middle man. Unlike most who talk about BAT or cars and bids I’ve actually bought cars from them The older set can’t seem to grasp times have changed. You’re buying the previous owner and you can actually talk to the owner on BAT even if only in comments. In both cases for the cars i bought the owners were true enthusiasts. Dealers can jump off a cliff for all I care.

False bidders can be a problem. But as a buyer I set my limit and do not fall into the trap of win at all costs

Fair price: About 10k below MSRP on a highly optioned, low mileage, excellent condition car.

The Mach 1s are not selling above MSRP yet. But I'm sure that won't last for long on the type described above.

When trying to find comparables, I think https://www.autotrader.com is a good site. Go there, select Mustangs, nationwide, 2021-2023 and in the sub menus, you can select Mach 1, HP, color, etc.

You might not find an exact match, but it will give you an idea for what these cars are selling for. Virtually every vehicle on offer is a retail sale, from a dealer or used car lot.

For private sales prices, using a much smaller population, our own Sales section will give insight.

I've been tracking Mustang sales numbers for only a few months now. People are holding on to these cars. Of the estimated 18,000 produced, only 130 are on offer at any given time [on Autotrader]. Less than 1%.

For pricing, I came up with something of an average sales price this month. Screen shot attached.

that range is pretty spot on. I bought my 22 M1 HP automatic for $55k with 10k miles. It was best deal I could find so your range is real world prices RN.

I literally (yesterday) just picked up a 23, with recaro cloth seats, 600A, A10 car w/26K miles in perfect condition, one owner car and it also has a great tint job done for 49500. Older gent traded it in on a new Supra. I got it from a large Toyota dealer who is owned by a large group that includes FORD dealers in my area. I bought my 20 Bullitt earlier in the year, from a FORD dealer with 25K miles in perfect condition for 39000. I love both of these cars and wanted a manual for fun weekend driving but an A10 for Drag and Drive events. I sold my Vette to make room for these cars. Much easier to work on these myself than the vette which is a pain if you need to drop the trans or do any drive train work. A lot of people pooh pooh on buying from dealers, but if you are patient and search around, you'll find them to be as good as any other sale source AND I got a 1 month, 1000 mile warranty to cover any issues that could be hiding, but these cars are pretty bullet proof and I love the 5.0 platform, especially the Gen 3's. So I'd say in my month of looking for the Mach, 48-50K is about as good as it will get for low mileage, 21-23 with recaro's and no issues.
