Hey everyone. I don't post very often but thought I'd start a conversation about wheels failing from track driving. After my track day last Wednesday I inspected my wheels as I always do. I noticed the front left had several cracks in the powdercoat running circumferentially around the center section of the spokes. Not a good sign. After I got home I did some googling and it appears these wheels have failed before, with nearly the same identical symptoms as mine. Needless to say, I will no longer be running these and am currently on the hunt for replacements. I know it's something that is talked about, but it's really important to check your wheels after every session. I dodged a costly and potentially catastrophic accident.
These wheels only have about 5k street miles with 15-20 track days on them. I expected them to last longer than that, but such is life. Has anyone had luck with Forgestar honoring warranty for this type of thing? I emailed them but don't really expect a response.
