So why does the Coyote need a "tune" when only the intake system is opened up? I see that it uses a MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor in the intake tube, so why doesn't the ECM automatically adjust the A/F to the correct level when it's reading higher airflow into the engine at the same throttle opening?
I had a C5 Z06 for years, and I believe you could throw on an aftermarket CAI system and exhaust without worrying about a re-tune because the ECM used the sensor inputs which could tell when more airflow was going into the engine, even at WOT conditions.
