And that’s the problem. You’re trying to insert an opinion that isn’t supported by any data whatsoever.

Flu deaths are estimated.
I agree that they could be much greater than reported, but it’s also true that they could in fact be much lower than reported. Which one of those options is correct?

Opinions are great. Data is better.

the CDC changed the reporting criteria in April. And permanently rendered the dataset suspect.

Some states (eg. Ohio, Virginia and others) continue to report "confirmed" vs "probable" separately.

Using Virginia data the "probable" column is as high as 20% in "cases" and 16% in "deaths". Unfortunately the "confirmed" column relies heavily on the totally bastardized PCR test mechanism and therefore for "cases" count is highly suspect. In Virginia the "deaths" adjudication looks to be quite a bit more rigorous and a bit more trustworthy. But death still only runs 1.6% of "cases" and 39% of hospitalizations. The key here would appear how do we minimize hospitalizations in the first place and more importantly quit converting such a high rate of hospitalizations into deaths.

With 8.5MM people the death toll is 0.012%. Or about 5.5x the death rate observed during 2018-19 Flu or 3.3x the Flu rate of 2017-18.

absolutely. but 'own land' would out of necessity include 'own a business'. The rest of those otherwise disenfranchised (back in the day everybody worth a damn owned land) you could include under the guise of "paid substantially more in taxes than received in gov't transfer payments" say at a 7:1 ratio.

Why? young people are least likely to have severe symptoms.

But they will contract the virus and pass it on to those who are more vulnerable. This happened numerous times over the holidays. Kids lost parents and grandparents. The kids in Miami are morons and if they live at home they should be forced to go to a hotel. Unless the old folks have had the vaccine.

except that's predicated on a total falsity - that getting the "vax" is going to materially alter the spread of the virus. It's not. It'll just take longer till it attempts to infect every living person. If and ONLY IF the "vax" was sterilizing do you make a useful and broadly beneficial change to viral spread.
