If you had a spark problem, you would know it. Your mods there's absolutely zero reason to change them unless your car sat for a year straight or something like that. Coil packs rarely go bad. Again, you'd know it. This isn't stuff that slowly ages and gets worse over time, it either works correctly, or it doesn't. When it doesn't, you know it.

Well, changing plugs won't hurt anything. But Ford lists them in their scheduled maintenance for replacement at 100k miles.
You imply that perhaps you are considering more upgrades. Maybe it's best to wait on plugs until you decide what is going to be done.
If you just feel the need to do something perhaps pull, inspect and regap the existing ones.
That would give you the opportunity to inspect the coil packs as well. Although, in my personal experience, a bad coil leaves no doubt when they fail.
I will do a little more for power in the future, not boosting, but adding power...I will keep recapping in mind...Thanks!

I’m happy you’ve had good luck. That’s not a common occurrence though.
i'm probably an outlier too. had a suzuki sidekick with 7,500 mile recommended oil change intervals that ran 335,000 miles with 44 oil changes. got $1,000 trade in when i bought the mustang.

Wider gaps make more power but you're talking about 2-3hp here

your driving style, weather, etc have a lot to do with jt

short trips in the winter are far worse on oil than long trips in warm weather for instance

Sure it is. Going 7,000-10,000 miles isn’t going to be detrimental to your engine especially with a 10 quart capacity.

I think it's a lot more common than internet forums want us to believe.
Yep. Any daily driven car, especially in most small/medium towns, will easily hit 200-300k. Hell I live in Houston and hit 250k on my last truck with zero motor issues. Now the suspension on the other hand....

It's a lot more common than the oil sellers want us to believe for sure.
I change mine when the computer tells me to also.
And intend to continue doing exactly that.
Especially at $45 for a jug of oil times two!
