You can go high 8s with a p1x, even quicker with a d1x. 8 second cars don't have a low end problem.
Yep. I’m not one to argue about torque/HP. My Vortech went 8.80 @ 150+ thirty years ago. I just recall a Procharger Tech mention the slight advantage the P1 had over the D1 down low.

BTW, the Paxton was also recommended. I’m not ruling that out either. A fellow Boss 302 owner went 8’s with one. Everything has their good and bad. I’ve heard about the Procharger crank issues as well. Always something right?

You mean coyotes have a crank issue.

Is the rate of crank failure in any way linked to fitting a Procharger?
Eg. X cars have crank failures. What % of them have a PC fitted?
Is the PC disproportionately represented?

From the little I’ve read about the crank issues there seems to be a connection between the failures and the usage of aftermarket balancers. Perhaps even incorrect installation of said balancers.

I have not noticed any torque loss on the bottom end.
