You just might be used to it. I never smelled cars when I was younger but today when 99.9% are catted I do notice cars without.

Possibly. Nothing really bother me, smell wise. But skunks smell good to me so who knows. I probably burnt up some sense of smell when I worked in a hazmat recycling plant in my younger days.

More mpg? How much and how did you verify this? 20 Hp from deleting cats? Happen to have a dyno sheet to back that up? Or just more stories about a clapped out 13 second car being quicker than a C8?

So no dyno numbers to back up your 20hp claim? I just got finished with my GT350, and the GT is apart again for blower porting, 5.3 motor sleeved with Bryant Billet crank, ported heads, blower cams, fore fuel system, Liberty gear built Magnum XL and GForce 9”IRS. And these are not my only cars.

I just removed my cats a couple of weeks ago and put on MAK deletes that I have had for almost three years in my basement. I really wanted to keep my cats but with only twenty two thousand miles on the car and its had a Whipple on it sense six thousand. I got the P0430 and replace the driver side cat. I decided to check the passenger side and it was also bad but no code yet. Anyway yes the car is louder but I have active exhaust and everything was good until my wiring shorted out and the exhaust defaulted to Track Friday.
I drove the car on a three hundred mile round trip and no exhaust smell in my car.
Yes the car does have more power and so much so that with my tires I know I'd be asking for trouble if I turn of the advance traction control off. Before I turned it off all the time.
And I haven't gotten a CEL yet used Big daddy L fowlers. Like I said I have had all this for a few years and I did not want to but oh well.
As for the active exhaust wiring is chased rubbed against the body and blew the fuse 34. Got the new harness on the way and using door edge molding on that sharp body edge that will take care of that.

Sorry to necro this, but is your exhaust system completely stuck except for the cat delete? Just how much louder is it in quiet mode. Been trying to find a video of someone with a stock system and just deletes but everyone i found they also had like different mufflers or an x pipe.

Looking to change as little as possible while not risking melting cats with boost lol

Mine is in the shop having catless LTH's put on but it is a Roush car stage 3 car so it will have their active exhaust. Leaving the stock resonator on. I will let you know
