2015 Mustang gt won't start... Battery good, alternator replaced, starter cranks, fuel pump primes, relays / fuses good, MAF sensor tested, no codes with SCT

Anything else I should try looking at? It started the day before.

Recently had to replace the intake manifold because the imrc failed. Replaced with a 2018 manifold and tune. Was running for 2 months with no issues.

Thanks

since you mentioned repair work my guess is some wiring connector got reconnected enough to run then but not secure enough to stay connected after a little driving. Fuel + AIr + Spark at right time and right amount = car runs. Agree with G.T. you are missing spark.

Thanks for the input! I just found fuse #44 - vehicle power #4 to have gone off. Replaced it and it went off again. At least now I have something to chase and investigate

Find the short…

Look for any wires touching chassis creating a short or start opening looms near where the repair work took place to find the broken wires inside the loom.

found the culprit when testing the connectors...

It's on the PCM / coil harness. Just need to get access behind the motor now to figure out where it goes to and what connector so I can order pins for repinning.

I guess my other option is to buy a new wire harness.

To close the loop I ordered a new connector from Ford WPT1253. Soldered it in and added a heat wrap.

Car is working again.
