I bought this from Amazon last year when I switched to actual spare from goo pump

since you mentioned repair work my guess is some wiring connector got reconnected enough to run then but not secure enough to stay connected after a little driving. Fuel + AIr + Spark at right time and right amount = car runs. Agree with G.T. you are missing spark.
Two suggestions assuming you don't have a driveway
1) Do you have a neighbor with an empty spot in their driveway. I don't know how much your insurance deductible is but I bet it is more than paying a neighbor for a parking spot and way less trouble
2) rent a mini storage for your nice car...
I found this:
If the "Replace Key Battery" message persists in your Ford Mustang, it is usually because the vehicle requires a specific, often rapid, number of drive cycles to detect the new voltage or because of a poor-quality replacement battery. Common fixes include ensuring the correct...
I bough aftermarket rails from CP Pony Parts. They sit right behind the pinch weld segment from front to back. There are pads on my jack but now I can just line up on the pinch weld at any spot (in the middle lifts both side wheels). Worth the cost to me for sure.
G.T. is correct. Modern times makes you want to jump to computer and sensors. Listen near tank for fuel pump or check with gauge if your fuel rail has an access valve. Check for sparking coils. There is an inexpensive tool that you just touch to the top of the coil. Or old school and pull...
my wife's Lincoln MKX had a habit of squeaking after so many miles regardless of pad thickness. It did it with different sets of pads. The parts store has the little packets of grease to apply to back (metal backing not contact surface) of the pads. That would get us months of quite braking...
as ORRadtech said get help if you are not comfortable. But if you are I would suggest getting your own scanner with a live data function. Drive with it connecting and recording for a while and when you get the check engine light again review the sensor data. Something is out of order but not...
I did search and did find other post about camera staying on and talk about a delay setting. My question is different in this. When I first got the car, reverse camera went off as soon as I pulled transmission out of reverse. Now with out me changing anything (at least intentionally changing)...
I love this stuff and have used it for years. https://www.zainostore.com/. Turns your paint into a mirror. Pic below is my 1992 Corvette, check the image of the clouds in the roof. Bit of work to start with but after initial job just regular wash and wax for future.
So I just noticed this leaver and assumed it was for rear seat entry. I thought if I pulled the leaver the seat top would fold forward and the whole seat would slide forward making rear seat access easier (for a Mustang). While there was tension on cable (effort needed to pull), nothing...
I know this is old school but two things. First did you check that your existing valve cover bolts have not gotten loose? (with torque wrench). Second from having lived through the days of poor quality from American manufactures (no hate please) parts did not always have good, flat surfaces on...
I got the same "it is broke but we don't have it" letter last week. My son-in-law's Ford car was out of service for 11 months for a tranny computer part they could not get. Is this all still the 2020 shutdown parts shortage or is something else going on?
There is a small disc where the manual door lock buttons used to be. I assumed it was a decorative covering for a manual device no longer used. However the other night I saw a small light in the middle of that disc that went out after a short bit. I have not seen it since nor have any lock...
I really do not think these qualify for 'drone' . There is a difference between hearing an exhaust system while you are in the car vs hearing a drone. To me a drone is a resonate vibration sound that comes into play over a specific RPM range. Exhaust sound comes from the rear and drone seems...
Well you can hear them so I guess that could be called drone, but I have asked my passengers if they had any trouble talking to me while driving and all said no. Normal voice level conversations were fine.
wonder if you could make shims out of a short piece of pipe? A inch or two length cut long ways into two 'C' shapes could slip between exhaust pipe and clamp to allow a little more tighten up. A cheap, fast, easy alternative to clamp replacement or at least a stop leaking solution until...
