Car Cover quality disappointment

Same here. The cover I got for my 911 cost only a little more than the shelby and it's soft and smooth and fits like a glove

Thats a different type of cover. That would be useless outside.

the scratchy paper feeling parts of it worry me a little. The cover that i have on my galaxie is a way different, much higher quality material and is entirely cloth.

I have mixed feelings about using the factory one on the gt350.

I liked the car cover, but only left on for a day.
As winter is bad and I can't drive it, I do like to stare
at it, so I took the cover off LOL.

I opted out of the cover when I ordered my car. I went to Autozone and got a nice cover for $45, works great and it came with a bag.

The bag is part of the cover, flip it over and you will see the bag attached...

The bag it goes in is attached to the inside of the cover with nylon straps sewn to the cover.

Knowing that its made with the latest in car cover technology helps. I'm happy with the fit and look of the cover. Have only used it indoors and it seems just fine. The real test will be to see how it does outdoors, but I'm not planning to leave it outside anytime soon.

I've found my covercraft noah to be an excellent cover. IIRC, it was less then $300. The cover that comes with the car might be better suited to be left in the wrapper.

Anyone else SEVERELY disappointed in the quality of the car cover that we paid $500 for? I was expecting something a little bit better than a single layer cover that would be a $35 pepboys special if not for the fact that it was emblazoned with a Shelby logo.

I have decided not to use the car cover on my car because I am afraid that it will scratch the paint putting it on and taking it off. My next step is to see how to return it to ford for a refund.

For the same price, I could have something TOP QUALITY like this:

I have purchased a lot of Mustangs over the last 8 years or so all of which I have ordered OEM car covers and can honestly say that the car cover for my GT350's/GT350R's are by far the worst quality car cover I have come across for any of my cars.

When putting the car cover on a makes a crinkle type of noise and feels just like a real piece of crap.

Hard to believe that Ford would supply a car cover of this poor quality for such an outstanding car but fortunately the rest of the car makes this minor faux pas seem very minor in the big scheme of things.
