Disappointed enough to use a pic from Track Attack as your avatar?

I purchased the race keeper and was very pleased with the footage towards the end the light went out and I asked an instructor about it and he gave a new flash drive and I was able to record the last hr or so. I am wondering if you can just pop your own flash drive in?

I disappointed in Track Attack in general, expected more from it. Not sure why people so hype about it. It felt like being parasailing tight up to the rope puled by the motor boat. People who parasailing will understand.
I did the gt500 track attack the day before my 350 class. Comparing the two side by side, the 350 class was a disappointment because we had way more track time between the drag strip and track than in the 350 class

I like to disassemble things.

Don't take it the wrong way but I noticed the same thing. No problem here either, just that your experience doesn't seem to mix with the impression you seem to want to espouse.

I was going to say....I did the Track Attack a few years ago in Utah and loved it. We were set free and I agree that was a bit different than lead-follow. I also did the Track Attack in Charlotte with my GT500 purchase and the experience was fantastic. Half the day was 1/4 mile and half was road course. I only had one other guy and the instructor in our group (thanks covid!) and since we had no problem handling speed, the instructor turned the wick up all the way. Zero complaints and big fun. That's with catching up to the group in front of us every time and then dialing it back before going all out again. I'd do it again in a heartbeat if possible.

Same here, me and 1 other person in my group that was doing a good pace. If I had the choice to do either again, 10/10 would choose the 500 track attack over the 350

It's two different things. Like the picture taking by pro photographer. But disappointed in Track Attack. Simple as that.

The Track Attack is a marketing tool. Almost all the owners have never done on the race track and 95-99% of the cars will never see the track, its gives the owners a little taste of what the car can do in a controlled place. Its a shame that a car built for the track never gets driven in its designed environment. For those who have raced or HPDE, most of the time it will be frustrated driving the car is such beginner manner. The Track Attack is not designed for those with lots of track experience.

I have a few days on track. I went in 16 to Utah and We went all out 99% of the time while on track. Day 2 was even better except for weather. Im wondering if the Covid crap has changed things up. I guess Ill find out in August
