I’ve have the Ford Shelby GT350 cover for nearly 5 years now and have had no scratches from using it. I have stated this in the past because it is a misconception that the cover from Ford is of low quality.
Agreed. Been using the OE cover on my 2017 since day 1, zero issues, and this is a shadow black car.

I use the one that came with the car. I use it as a dust cover since my car is garaged. Works perfect for this

Not ragging on you here but washing something that’s not supposed to be washed will degrade the material.
I can’t imagine owning a car cover that you cannot wash. If the cover is doing it’s job, it’ll get plenty dirty.
No rag assumed. I don't throw away a dirty cover that cost over $300 because it has dust and crud on it. What is the worst that could happen - have to replace it? And to do when it is dirty? Even in the garage they get dusty. It has been fine BTW, even after two washings.
