So
Some of us don't street race and prefer to do it at the drag strip. IATs at low speeds is extremely important there especially when you are waiting in staging lanes and you don't have people pushing your car. Even that short amount of time at the actual line can make a big difference. Sometimes you are waiting for a while for the other person to get situated. On a hot day it's even worse. With the PMAS I had for a short while on my 2012, it heated up rapidly and didn't really cool down to acceptable IATs until I was going over 70mph and cost me a LOT of ET and trap speedUnless you're doing a ton of dig racing, there's nothing to worry about. Most people roll race it seems, which negates the sitting in traffic thing.
I've had open boxes my 15 and 18. From my datalogs, there's no substantial power difference down low.
