Build Week 2/2/15

Per Rachel, all cars built the week of 2/2 should be released by the end of this week, and my EDD will most likely be pushed back from 2/27. I assume this is true for everyone who's EDD wasn't already pushed back to March.

I'm not liking these 'should be' situations.

My edd is 2/24 but my dealer called Monday and said the car will be in 2/19. I do not believe him on this matter but we shall see.

Didn't you guys hear? The engines came out too strong and they are dialing it back to meet official HP figures. The rumor is all you have to do is activate a command by turning the car off and on again in certain intervals and the power comes right back.

This is good news, our stangs were built differently and are packing a huge punch, you guys should be excited.

Any other cars from this build week in transit? My base gt is in new Mexico now, so only a short time until it gets here. Is it only gt premium orders that are stuck? I'll be sure to look closely for qa problems when it does get here

Mine is a base GT with PP/Recaro. Blend date is the 4th but built on the 6th according to Rachel. Still stuck

I doubt it'll be defective. It's probably has to do with someone's shipping method. My car finished build on 2/9 so I'm almost waiting a month for it to go into transit it seems.

Yeah, my blend date was 2/4 and my EDD on COTUS is still 2/24. Been in "awaiting shipment" for many days. Stopped by the dealer yesterday and the salesperson says he expects it any day now. We shall see. I have a funny feeling that I won't be seeing it until March. :shrug:

Looks like only the Monday (2/3) cars were released.

As I've already written about in other threads. My dealers Zone Mgrs. stopped and talked to the person ordering vehicles. They told her that there IS a QC hold on some cars built the week of 2/2. They are Ford Zone folks. I KNOW they wouldn't say anything about QC issues if it was not true.

Beyond that no other info is known. My GM called everyone he could at the highest levels...they all must have been reading from the same "notes!" No, we don't have any further info!!

I will be getting a phone call today or tomorrow from the Dist. Sales Mgr. to answer any questions I may have. That was set up by my GM. Don't know if he'll have any "real info." for me that he didn't have for my GM??? Hmmm??? But, I'll be glad to talk to him.

O wow, you really got your sales people to go all out for you. It took me a week and a couple of emails to get my ordering info so I can track it.

Please report back what yo learn. I'd be curious as to see why some of our cars will wait a month to be shipped.
