Only issue I ran into was lining up the drivers side FWD bolt in the hole. It was off a little bit and felt like it was stripping the threads. I used the pry bar to align the hole up and coated the shit out of the bolt with antisieze! From there I slowly tightened the bolt up and she went right in.

Anybody else notice a slight creaking noise from the right rear after installing this? Only happens when taking off normally from a stop, for a second or two when the clutch is being let out. Almost sounds like the rear interior decklid moving around or something. Sounds a little like a tire rub, but I know it's not that.
Just read through this and have this EXACT same issue, but it was present before the bushing kit install.

Did you ever find the source of yours? Mine sounds just like it's the rear deck lid "creaking" on easy and normal take offs but I can't isolate/solve it.

I think it's the rear decklid too, but I haven't looked too hard. I didn't notice it before, but I'm sure it was there. It might just be more prevalent now because of the added stiffness from springs and the lockout kit.

I had a friend ride in the back this weekend to isolate it and she thinks it's from the rear pillar/glass/deck lid area on the passenger side. I definitely had it before any suspension mods but it seem to be getting worse. I'm going to take the carpet off the lid and the plastic off the pillars to see if I can easily isolate/fix it before going to Ford.

I have the creaking as well. Noticed it on my road trip in Atlanta traffic. It sounded like the left side, my fiance turned around and was looking in the back and said it was coming from the plastic area behind the driver's side door.

I had the kit installed on Friday and I haven't noticed any noises.

I noticed a little NVH after my install with the windows up. But I can't tell if it's from that, the vertical links or just road noise. Not a big deal at this point.

My 2011 GT had a creaking from that area as well. Steeda sold a brace for that area. I installed it and the noise went away. I wonder if it is the same issue? I have not seen anything like that brace for the S550.

Same exact thing happened to me. I ended up having to space the gap with washers exactly like you did. BMR sent me a new passenger side arm to see if possibly it was a build error. Just 3 days ago I finally got around to swapping the arm out. The gap definitely got smaller, I'd say only 1/8" off from at least 3/8" so I'd say it definitely was out of whack.

I decided to do something a little different........

I already had ALL the Steeda "stop the hop" parts in my garage because when I was planning this all out I bought everything Steeda had and BMR's CB005 so I could try both.

I REALLY liked Steeda's braces that tie in the rocker panel, OEM sub frame brace and subframe all together but I think the CB005 does a better job than Steeda's subframe bushing insert kit.

So........ I installed all the CB005 part except the arms, keeping the front OEM subframe braces so I could keep the mounting points for the Steeda brace. I also combined Steeda's subframe centering pins with the CB005. I can tell you with certainty the pins were needed (in my case) because when I took the CB005 arms off (one at a time) I had to realign the subframe to get the bolts to all line up with the holes. This says to me, although the CB005 does a decent job centering the subframe, it does not completely center it and centering pins are the ONLY way to be 100% sure the subframe is centered.

So here is what I'm using

Steeda Braces
Steeda Centering Pins
Steeda Adjustable Toe Arms
Steeda Vertical Links
Steeda Front Sway Bar
Steeda Rear Sway Bar
Steeda Billet Sway Bar Mounts
Steeda K Brace
BMR CB005/OEM hybrid setup
Steeda Progressive Springs (for now)

I still have a little wheel hop but it is WAY better and livable now. I have Steeda Diff Inserts sitting on my bench to go back in and I am hoping this will eliminate the rest of the wheel hop. I also think some of my hop comes from running 285's on the factory 9" wide 20" rims but I can't be sure. Luckily the fix for this is only 4 ish weeks away when my MRR GT350 wheels with 305/35/19 & 275/35/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports get here :)

Sorry to get off point here lol. I just wanted to tell you I also experienced the gap in the passenger side BMR arm but ended up giving you my life's work lol.

Funny thing is the factory arm went back in with zero gap.......

Jaime

I have the same setup w/ eibach springs and sways. Wheel hop is gone, and the handling is on point. Now, I just need some decent dampeners.

Interesting on the brace but I really don't think my noise is suspension related at all, I just commented here b/c someone else apparently has the exact same noise/issue.

I had the creaking with a bone stock suspension, it got worse with the stock suspension and seems like it's even worse now but I don't think it has anything to do with the BMR kit.

It also seems worse when the car is hot or sitting in the sun for a while, the same as any interior trim vibrations or sounds get worse in the summer when the plastics are hot (at least in my experiences).

...

We've shipped close to 500 kits out. Many are bulk purchases, but I'd guess there are atleast 300 kits installed.

3 occurences of 300, that's pretty telling to be honest. Of course, there may be more....as there are always people who just go about doing whatever and never let me know...
Make that 4 out of 300. I have about 1/4" gap on the passenger side. I'll be stacking washers as I want to get it on the road for the weekend.

For anyone doing this on their own, like mentioned above ratchet straps are your friend.

If people are having problems with stripping the front holes, would starting in the front then doing the rears last going to help resolve the stripping issue?

I also have some NVH..... I fitted the kit with the Steeda alignment bushes....

I think I'm going to remove it:( leave the bushes in and go back to standard..

Sorry to hear Andy.

Your nvh shouldn't be from the cb005 if it's installed properly.

However, if you upgraded your diff mounts....you will get a significant increase in nvh

Thanks for the feedback Kelly.... Yes I did do the diff mounts at the same time...

Think I'll leave it as is, for the moment, drive it a bit more and then come up with a plan...

What would be your advice on the issue below??

I fitted the 2 M8 bolts, and they pulled it to the body, but do you think it's worth loosening and putting a spacer underneath??
