  1. 2015-2020 Mustang GT Cat Delete Pipes: First To Market and The Original Cat Deletes

You really can't run these for long periods of time without a tune turning off the rear O2's (Adrian can chime in and hopefully confirm). The CEL may not be a big deal but there's more to it than that. With no cats and the rear O2/narrow band sensors left on the car will read as if the cats...
  2. Sound tube delete

If any normal sized human can get that nut off on the PP without removing the strut tower brace and/or the K brace I will be extremely surprised. I was determined to get it off and after about 30 minutes of trying i ripped the damn thing out. I also removed the gas pedal with three nuts from...
  3. Camber adjustment bolts for the GT w/PP?

^^ I share this concern and already have the BMR Performance Springs on my PP car. I did the install and personally think it'd be a huge bitch to get to them (if you even can) with wheels on and calipers on while on an alignment rack. That being said I have not looked at attempting to get to...
  4. BMR Wheel Hop Testing: Video Footage

Exactly which IRS components were added for this test? Great results.
  5. Chasing False Knock

On my last turbo car I was trying to eliminate octane issues or anything other than vibration from causing knock and just ran the tank all the way down (tuned and was using 93 pump gas) and bought a 5 gallon jug of Shell URT (104 octane I think). I believe that's the best way to do it....go way...
  6. Rear interior/deck lid "creak"

Interesting, I'll give it a look but I really think mine is isolated to the rear deck lid/quarter window areas. I'm going to check the spot mentioned in that thread, thanks! If anyone else has it or finds the culprit/solves this please post up.
  7. Rear interior/deck lid "creak"

2015 GT PP Premium Before any mods I noticed a REALLY slight creak noise coming from what sounded like the rear passenger side deck lid/corner area after not even 1K miles. This would only happen when starting from a dead stop. It seems to have gotten worse over time...from the point of...
  8. what kind of gains rwhp? ( cats delete, tune , CAi,catback)

I've had great service with Lund, and did bought direct when the very first few nGauges were available. He also tuned my 2012 and worked through some extremely tedious hardware (not tune or tuning device related) issues along the way. My take on the "off the shelf tune" thing is this...It's...
  9. Spring Install

Helping a local guy with his this weekend, definitely using this method again! I should add that once I've gotten the strut assembled in position and the top nut threaded onto the strut shaft a safe amount I removed the strut assembly and just verify that the top spring isolater and upper strut...
  10. 2015-2020 Mustang GT Cat Delete Pipes: First To Market and The Original Cat Deletes

I personally think the cat delete with otherwise stock exhaust is the perfect amount of noise (for me). That plus changing anything after the cats is negligible for power gains (weight reduction, yes) and really only for sound makes it fit my needs.
  11. Lund or Livernois

You are reinforcing what I said. There's a reason that no one has established a hands down best tuner in those 15 years....it's like asking someone which cell phone carrier is best. Everyone has different opinions and biases and it's been discussed to death on this board and every other one...
  12. Catless downpipe void warranty on whole car?

My entire MT82 trans. was replaced under warranty on my 2011 Mustang at the the dealer. They had to remove my catless midpipes to drop the trans. Zero problems. Depends on your dealer.
  13. Lund or Livernois

Cool. Another "which tuner is better" thread. In for results as this is definitely a new topic.
  14. Front end clunk on bumps HELP

Glad you got it fixed. I noticed something in the ford manual that isn't in alot of the spring install instructions regarding the sway bar end links... Basically if you break the nut loose the threaded part will begin to turn, so you have to hold the hex head of the threaded part while...
  15. Front end clunk on bumps HELP

***EDIT: I just read back through your post and saw you said you watched them use an impact on the top strut nuts. I'll bet they were turning the whole assembly and are not torqued to spec. I've used an impact and had it tighten up and I've also used one and then checked the torque by hand...
  16. BMR CB005 issue

Interesting on the brace but I really don't think my noise is suspension related at all, I just commented here b/c someone else apparently has the exact same noise/issue. I had the creaking with a bone stock suspension, it got worse with the stock suspension and seems like it's even worse now...
  17. BMR CB005 issue

I had a friend ride in the back this weekend to isolate it and she thinks it's from the rear pillar/glass/deck lid area on the passenger side. I definitely had it before any suspension mods but it seem to be getting worse. I'm going to take the carpet off the lid and the plastic off the...
  18. BMR CB005 issue

Just read through this and have this EXACT same issue, but it was present before the bushing kit install. Did you ever find the source of yours? Mine sounds just like it's the rear deck lid "creaking" on easy and normal take offs but I can't isolate/solve it.
  19. Forget The 10's Im In The 9's

Are those viking shocks the ONLY suspension mod to the rear?? Stock springs, stock bushings, links, etc? What tire are you running out back?
