15-17 MT82. I may eventually change to 3.55 rear gears, but for now I'll work on using third occasionally on course. I talked to Sam Strano about that a bit last night and he gave me some wisdom.
Hmm, why the change?

I'm hitting only 62 mph at 7500 rpm in 2nd. It'd be nice to have a few more mph, as the car is so good now that every single course I've been on this year, I've been having to lift on spots to avoid overrevving. At nationals (next year), it's not uncommon for 70+ mph in sections so that would currently force me into third gear. I'll experiment with using third in sections where I can sustain 45+ (which is a significant chunk), as there's definitely more than adequate thrust in that gear and above 4000 rpm.

He's driven enough of them (along with national championships in Mustangs) and sells parts for them. He's very knowledgeable about speed in most things with a front engine V8 and RWD, along with a lot of other things. His personal autocross car has been a Vette for 10+ years.

New trans, clutch, flywheel, TOB, and braided clutch line are all in! Now time for the painfully slow break in of the clutch. Everything feels fantastic so far.
Which clutch did you go with?

Hi Brian@bmvk,
Do you still like your coilovers ridetech?
Are their springs linear?
Is it a good configuration for road used only? For me, the best efficient road suspension should be confortable too, is it?

Brian has moved on to a different platform. However he ended up with MCS TT2 from Vorshlag. He wasn’t too crazy about the RideTechs.

Which car did he move to? Any particular reason?
