Instead of saying 🙅‍♂️"I bet they were leaving cars and coffee" , say👌 "Ah, I see they were exploring the limits of traction"
and instead of "There goes that asshole mustang with the loud pipes". instead say "Hell yeah, brother!" đź‘Ť
Lets post some more mustang-owner-friendly language so...
I forgot about this one, easily the worst. I think what fixed it for me was having a different configuration of keys adjacent to the fob. You know its bad when you can recognize the sound of your own car alarm
Picked up a strut tower bar for cheap from a local owner. I'm pleasantly surprised with the result! I could immediately feel the front end tighten up at all speeds and many different road situations. Its been interesting to see how different mods build upon each other, which makes me wonder what...
I had a similar but opposite brain fart in the parking lot of a home depot, accidentally let the clutch out hard on startup without taking it out of first gear, the E brake kept my car from slamming into the truck in front of me. Lucky nothing happened but a close call does not feel good
I was gonna suggest this as well, lost our minds for about an hour after my install, run that b down with an impact, a few other ways to do it by hand.
I have the bolts for now, haven't had any issues so far with them. Ride quality didn't change that much for me but I attribute that to the floppy OEM tire setup (235/50/R18). If I had to do it again I would have bought a wheel and tire setup as the bmr/fp package is for sale at a huge bargain by...
I've driven a 19 Gt pp magnaride, which blows the base car out of the water, but since you have MR and a good tire, you could find a minimum drop spring for the MR along with sway bars, the springs do a lot to resist roll, and sway bars do resist as well, at the cost of a little grip I believe...
It seems like most people don't have it, many do but if I find a 15-17 in the next few years , if it hasn't started yet I think it would be fine unless the panel got exposed by damage. Also fiber glass can't rust 100% of the time
I just realize you said your doing power mods, I think the widest you can run in the rear is like a 325 tire, but very important component is the tire composition, that stock tire size sucks, but a good tire compound makes just as much difference, find out exactly what your needs are...
