I had to laugh at that one, Greg, no offense. I spent the better part of ten or eleven days masking, polishing, and ceramic coating my Mustang. :-) Maybe I'm just slow. <chuckling>

SO true, amigo...so true. :-)

Edit: However comma, it IS quite easy to maintain the finish NOW after all that work and it was well worth the effort.

I have to admit, I do use the clay on the windshield.

Look for and pick up a clay mitt, bar is old school now. Using one will tell all, if you've used a clay bar.

Nothing wrong with using it on the windshield or other windows. It will remove bonded contaminants the same as it will off the paint.

I've been using Zaino Brothers products for years but its a multi step application and take all day.
I'll be looking to see if they have a ceramic based product for my new 2021 GT/CS....delivery by fall, hopefully

Wanna have more fun with your ceramic coating??? Get caught in the rain when you can't wipe it off....or....get it soaked by a water sprinkler. Check back with your findings later.

Water spots. Have fun.
I get caught in the rain all the time. Never had a single water spot on the car.

Also had the car hit with a sprinkler when I parked beside the planted island at grocery store before. Again no water spots.

Drive fast enough and the water flows right off the entire surface in the rain.

If your car does manage to get water spots hit it with some car pro spotless and they're gonezo.

I just plain wax mine every 2 months, and use Meguiars D156 every other wash (every 2 weeks).

I haven't tried that one yet, but I have been really likely the Meguires Hybrid ceramic - works great and very easy to apply!
Yep, just tried the Meguires Hybrid Ceramic on my older car and it really darkened the paint and beads great. I also bought Chemical Guys Hybrid spray and swirl remover to try out before using on mustang.

Only because I mentioned that it won’t be in a metal can anymore here is what the new packaging looks like. Coat number two going on both cars tomorrow.

A "no wax" polish may give the clear coat a brilliant shine it won't have much longevity. It needs a wax coat to protect the shine.
