Best fitting headers 2022 GT

I was thinking about getting catted headers and was wondering whats the best fitting header for a s550. Saw some mixed reviews about most companies so am not sure. I know everyone says kooks is the best but i don't wanna spend 2500-3k on just the part. I was looking at stainless power catted headers most people were saying those are good. Are stainless power good or would yall recommend some other company.

I had no idea that kooks headers price increased that much, holy cow. I paid $1700 for mine back in 2022 because I definitely wanted their angled o2 sensor placement due to running E85 daily and their pipes don't interact with each other that can cause false knock.

Stainless power is chinese made. So that is an easy no for me.

Kooks is kind of the standard. SW is good, and what I have. No issues with the install. Well made product.

Stainless power is what my guy installs. Have them on my Mach 1, no issues, they fit great and just work for a reasonable price.

Ultimate Headers is what I have (or shall I say, had). I just took them off to install forward facing turbo headers. I had fitment issues initially, but they made me a completely new set, which fit perfectly.

Ran them for 5 years (or 8800 miles) and I did have a cat failure that may or may not have been caused my me using a 2 step launch controller and nitrous. Repair was made using Vibrant mini race mufflers and that took care of the issue.

I run Stainless Works w/ their cats and H pipe on my 20 Bullitt. Fit great and have the angled 02 ports. Car is tuned by 5Star and runs great. Kooks are awesome headers but pricey. I have them on my 02 Vette but were installed a few years back before they got all guchi priced!

With enough heat cycles and vibration, any set of headers made from 304 stainless will develop a stress crack before they rot and it doesn't matter it it's USA sourced material and labor or from some sweat shop in China. Optimum fitment is hit or miss with any brand on any given car so as long as the vendor is willing to stand behind their product, I would think twice before paying boutique prices for any set of headers. They all give minimal torque curve benefits but the potential for maximum noise increases so good luck with whatever route you choose.

I had a set of LTH Longtues on my previous 2017 GT, they fit like a glove, tons of room all around. Stay clear of the bargain basement headers they all fit like trash and cause problems.

i wanted to get the catted version from them they were cheap but they are currently sold out on their website

MBRP are a great fit also. Put a set on i 2018 and the entire system us still in great shape.

Recently fitted a set of x force 1 7/8 long tubes to my 2019 GT, for a budget price header I was very happy with the fitment and quality of the product. RH side was a pita to fit as I'm sure most are but once in place, no rubbing or fouling anywhere and sound good.
