I watched a Video from the P&S girl about how she uses bead maker as a clay lube and it helps get it in the paint so I tried it on my wife's 2015 Rogue. It looks better then my ceramic coated mustang!

I know it won't last forever but her car stays in a garage and doesn't get driven so should last, Sad part is she could care less how it looks :)

I like Beadmaker but have found better options lately. I still have it in my arsenal, the main thing I don't like is the name doesn't coincide with what it does. Makes paint glossy and slick, yes Beads, not so much :( I much prefer Adams Slick N Slide for a final wipe down, or for a ceramic booster, NV Boost V2 or Koch Chemie S0.02 are much better, and last a lot longer.

Do they offer protection like bead maker? Not sure if it’s Nissan paint quality but it looks great.
Wish I could say the same about their CVT’s 😎

Oh yes, much better. Beadmaker might last a couple weeks. KCx S0.02 lasts a couple months or more. Boost V2, the V2 version is more long lasting. The original Boost is kinda like Beadmaker, only lasts a short time.... They all look fantastic and boost the gloss a lot.

When will a company come out with a water sheeter. I HATE BEADS it just causes water spots.

There used to be a product that sheeted the water off the car but I cannot find it any more.

Yessir agree 100%
iirc Zymol used to be a product that espoused the benefits of water sheeting. I just havent used it in years and dont care to, the newer apply and wipe off products are too easy (even ceramic coatings).

When I visit my mother who lives in FL I have to park under a tree. This tree condenses water onto my car. The water beads and then the Fl sun burns the calcium deposits into my paint. If I don't wash the car every morning I have to wet sand it to remove the spots. This is with a modern ceramic coating.

Yes this is a worst case situation but I would really like a product that sheeted the water. Have had too many sprinklers hit my car and have that cause water spots. Drives me crazy.

Is that back when they had the info commercial of shining a " laser" and showing how it didn't burn the car? Seems like I remember it sheeting.

wet sand water spots? jeeezlouise. regular ole finishing polish did the trick for me. I used to have to hose my previous car off almost every day before heading to work since i parked it under trees as well.

Yea, well the first time, after the ceramic coating, I thought all was fine. When I got home a week later and finally washed the car.... Much to my horror NONE of the spots went away.

I tried polishing compound, then rubbing compound and finally had to wet sand.

Sooo no more uber expensive ceramic crap for me. The ceramic I get at the local no touch car wash works just fine.

I hear ya.

I'm still a fan of ceramic coating. Nothing lasts as long and these days im not inclined to wax my car and whatnot every few months. I used to like to try new products and stuff all the time, but I guess the older I get the less I care. Just want to DIY the product and be done with it for 3+ years and cquartz has done the trick for me. Price is perfectly reasonable imo for how long it lasts.

Yea. I just now use the local touchless wash and get the ceramic wash.

I think it gives the same protection for a price I would pay weekly, when the car needs to be sprayed off.

Learned my lesson about the uber expensive specialist applied coating.
