I would go kooks but they are 2k+ so no thanks I had Texas speed headers on my gt and loved them. I was just wondering about bbk headers for the 350 because my buddy has a set on his gt and we have never had an issue with them.If they even have them to fit, BBK is junk. Do a side by side with a set of Kooks and you’ll never look back. Get what you pay for. Don’t go cheap on this.
If you don’t mind me asking how are that junk? Every header seems to be made out of the same ole 304 steel, is it the welds what is it?Junk
They really don’t sound bad. I was debating between kooks and arh but just what’s to see what the bbks sounded likeHas anyone ever put on headers on a gt350 and liked the sound? Serious question.
Thank you for the advice! I actually just ordered the mgw shifter from beefcakeThe few people I talked to that did BBK on their GTs had to dimple the tubing to make the steering shaft not rub. Also one of them had to shift over the engine as much as possible to the passenger side for the same reason. If I have to spend good $ on a set of headers that I have to beat a dent into them to fit, I just rather spend the $ for decent ones. If you're dead set on BBk look into 2guysfab or something like that. They are very affordable & are also a hit or miss but look better imo. Also, hit up Terry at Beefcakeracing. Sometimes he is over stocked & will give you a ridiculous good price on top brands. Best of luck.
I don't think BBK makes any 304ss headers...If you don’t mind me asking how are that junk? Every header seems to be made out of the same ole 304 steel, is it the welds what is it?
