The black and purple wires are negative, the green and yellow wires are positive. (per post No.1)

Each pair goes to a pair of terminals. 4 wires to 4 connections.

Can someone assist with the wiring for the Pioneer subwoofer please.

Do both factory positive wires go into the top Pioneer positive terminal and both factory negative wires go into the top Pioneer negative terminal (leaving the bottom Pioneer positive and negative terminals free)?
OR
Do the two factory positive wires go into the two Pioneer positive terminals and two factory negative wires go into the two Pioneer negative terminals?
OR
Something else?

I've attached an image representing my question diagrammatically
Thanks

Neither of those. Black and purple go to -ve with the green and yellow to +ve.

The wires are paired when connected to the OEM sub so just copy that.

I also had doubts on the wiring, but once you get the sub, it'll be pretty obvious how you need to wire it... which is one channel to one side of the sub, and the other to the opposite side terminals. The only thing you need to know is which are the + wires, which are yellow and green. On the sub, look under the terminals (red and black stickers), and notice they're reversed from side to side, so I'd put a tape on either the + or - terminals, so you don't mix the wires when wiring the sub inside the box, since you won't be able to see which is + and -. I also suggest not to cut the wires, and just remove the terminals from the connectors. Even like that, I had a heck of a time being able to insert the 2nd pair of wires. I did insert the terminals from the inside out, for less stress on the wires, but it was a PITA. Ha ha.

Just drove the car yesterday for the first time since the install last week, and the new sub sounds substantially better, basically now matching the rest of the system, so it was worth adding the 5+ lbs of dead weight :).

I've read the thead ut still don't understand. I have a single-coil 4ohm sub (1KW), how should I connect it? One pair of wires only, on in parallel?

Simple. Tie black and purple together and connect them both to the negative (-), tie the green and yellow together and connect to to Positive (+) on your single voice coil sub.

So in parallel) ok, thank you. For now connected one pair, it works, but will check parallel connection and will this differ

If you only connect one pair you will only have one channel and hence half the power going to it.

Just wondering about the price. I noticed a member here paid around $50 for this speaker. Seems like the price jumped up to $88. Anyone find it cheaper?

I just got my car about 3 days ago and noticed the bass was just off. I am looking forward to this upgrade. Seems like the easiest way for this upgrade is to drill some self tapping screws and be done with it.

Prices go up or down on speakers. All the members buying them probably inflated a bit. There’s speakers I paid 68 for that are like 130 now

The sub in the B&O package is 10"? Is it a straight fit?
The only Morel Ultima 104 sub I found was over $600.
