I know theres been a ton of photos of this splitter going around but I was just too excited not to share. Just got my APR front splitter installed last week and I love the look of it even though I was hesitant at first. I'm glad I got it, the carbon weave on the splitter is so perfect and you can tell its a high quality piece worth every cent.

I just saw your pics on IG! Sick car.

And now I want the bigger splitter. Is it on their site for sale?

Car looks amazing man! Do you have to put the twos metal rods in the middle to hold it up?

Thanks! I don't think you have, I've seen plenty of guys run it without the rods, They're just there for the extra support. And I happen to like the look of them lol.

I like the look and the rods but wouldn't want to drill into my bumper how it looks like it attaches. Or does it attach somehow else? No one has really shown that part.

I hear ya, i was really nervous about doing so, but having them on the underside of the bumper made me feel a little bit better since it wouldn't really be visible.

I have seen people attach them to the mesh grill on other cars, I'm sure it would be possible on ours as well.

Yeh they should've figured some setup to go through the top of the lower grill since you wouldn't see it.

Otheriwse I saw a youtube install and it's just some holes in the bottom belly pan which are tiny- just screws. Or they could've done it like Steeda with theirs and made it replace the belly pan piece totally and just bolts to the front splitter and the stock screws/push pins.

Not a fan of visual mods that can't be reversed really.

OK... So I click on your thread OP... Telling myself to keep an open mind, with flashbacks of the "Shovel" look the 11-14's gave when adding the wrong splitter on the front and wham...

Your setup looks perfect!

I think to myself, once we get our S550, I will look into this as an option.

Then the rest is 100% all your fault!

I start looking at other threads with S550 photos and notice how unfinished/flat/naked/ boring the front end is on these with the itty bitty stock splitter!

Now I have to decide which one I get because if I do not, I will have sleepless nights knowing how awkward looking our car is...

Tanx!
