Finally got to the track tonight and my first pass. Only made 2 pass first 10.69 second 10.40. First pass sucked driver error lol. Second was better but still leaving some on the table. Next time out not gonna worry about racing. All good tho have to start somewhere. Next time ill stay at the line and load up get the 60 down. Want to see how fast I can get her on this setup and learn the car a little. Next weeks putting the converter in. Gonna run with same setup to see the improvement. Setup right now is nothing special 3.875, E85, street r's stock magna ride.

Definitely moving out for only a 3.875 pulley .
What kind of DA?
Almost same traps as my 3.25 pulley !
I am guessing Lund tune .
I really need to think about switching .
Lol

My car does okay to the 1/8 mile but runs out of steam.
Everyone else is picking up 30+ on the back half but I am stuck picking up only 26-27 .

Thank you!
I had Jon Lund remove 1st gear all together on this particular tune revision. Street and track use no 1st gear and I really like it! 1st gear is SO aggressive and it seems out of place and unnecessary for me.

For the exhaust note piece - I think ALL of these cars sound like butt. I don't know if its the headers, midpipes, firing order, positioning of the mufflers at the rear of the car or what.. I have never heard a Coyote I've liked... (I went with Flowmasters because of my Foxbody cars... this was a mistake. lol)

I am about to order a new catback now so I have a full 3" throughout. I am thinking about the Magnaflow...

I am going to keep my Baer brakes on the shelf for now as I may NEED to use them to run some of the popular classes that are not allowing my wider 17" tires. NOTE: I did a mock up with the Baer's and yes, they allow my Weld 15's to mount but would NOT allow my Weld Low Pad 17's Beadlocks to go back on due to clearance issues. Ugh. Derrick @ 1320Wheels.com (who is AWESOME by the way) made me some nice 1/4" spacers so I could run the 17's with the Baer's when the time comes to swap to those.

Pic below is the 17's Weld low pad wheels with the Baer's/no spacer.

I think you’ll like the Magnaflow.
Just be sure to go the street system, not the competition. Comp is fine for NA but in my experience, far too much on a blown car.

I ran the second around 9. Yeah Lund tuned. Its literally my 3rd time running on a drag strip and first 10 second pass. So I dont think I'm doing GB to bad. But if I had another pass or 2 I think I would of kept going faster. I need to try stalling the car up more.

So about 1300 DA ?
That’s not bad air .
I decided to try a taller tire I already had mounted
325/45 17 M&H on 17x 10.5 wheels/race stars
It’s a heavier combo than the 305/45 ET R’s I have been running on a other set of 17x10.5 race stars.
I also have the ET R’s (might be worn ) on 17x9.5 wheels and I think that works best .

I wanted to try the taller tire (28.5) to decrease my overall rear to 3.22 from 3.31 with the 27.8 tire .

It did not work as well as was slower but DA was also worse than last time out @2500 ft.
I think the combination of the extra weight/height and crossing the traps at lower rpm did not help .

I am still concerned about my low traps . Maybe my car is a dog ?
Lifting heads ? . Too scared to do compression test since despite all my “spare “ engines I don’t have one for the 18 .

Or I just need to wait for better air .
I will be doing the converter next week and I am tempted to try a 3.0 pulley .
Long tubes if all else fails may be next year

DA wasnt to bad but 88% Humidity witch isn't great. It will get better tho. Your goin mph111 to the 1/8. Shit if I can do that I'll be going 140+ lol. But as you know this is just the start. I might put the 3.5 on for Friday. I have the converter going in next week. I think I can definitely get 9's with 3.875 and converter. So when I pulley down to 3.0/2.85 should be going to the show lol

111mph over the 1/8th is pretty damn impressive.
As to the issue of a low back half, I think you answered your own question.
How much time/distance are you spending at or very near peak power in that half?
What is your rpm as you cross the 1/8th? Just the one shift on the back half or two? (I’m not familiar with the A10 whatsoever).
What rpm are you crossing the line at?
Lots of questions.

It just never ends with the BS. Went to last night couldn't get a break. First pass car felt great till 4th gear then just stopped accelerating like limp mode but no code. I just rolled to the end floored because I was pissed everything was normal car ran fine. Second pass ran perfect went 10.5 at 134. Best 60 I had so far 1.60. Third pass car went in to limp mode Po124 throttle body code. Reloaded tune fourth pass same as first. Dont know why or what would cause the car to stop acceleration like that but the car runs great. Man this shit just never ends.
