Any seasoned mechanic can adjust rear camber in minuets.
Rear alignment on the s550s is admittedly a pain. It takes a lot of back and forth adjustments, thus a lot of time. If you're not patient, you won't get it. This shop evidently cares more about quantity over quality. Oh well, i'll find another shop.

Eh, no, not on this car with the stock parts - like Nightmaremoon mentioned, it is pain in the ass and it's not easy to get to inboard mount - camber alone - maybe, but that's not the aligment.

I thought it was going to be a pain also. Turned out to be cake.

If you have any idea what you are doing and have the right tools it is a snap.

The fuel filler is not really in the way either, with proper tools. If you have the 126 piece craftsman tool box then yes it is a pain.

Clearly you guys are better mechanics than me. I installed godspeed camber arms. It was extra painful because passenger size sub frame bolt had rusted into the sleeve so took extra work to disassemble the first time.
Anyways, yes it's possible to dial in... will you notice a difference of 0.3 degrees? Probably not... but 1 degree ? Yes I think so,.

An alignment rack, long wrenches and a 4 foot prybar.

Can you get box end wrench’s onto the camber slot bolt ?

I have the ratchet type that normally prove quite useful :

I’m hoping I won’t need a pry bar, I have the J&M camber brackets in there :like:

Any tips or special kit for torquing that bolt up after adjustment ?

Agree; I’d never ever feel the difference in .3° split. Andretti might, but I won’t. But here’s something else that hasn’t been brought up. May be important to some, maybe not. It certainly is to me. Assuming your subframe is square and no other issues, getting into that .2-.4 difference range, you can start to visually see that straight on from the rear. Can see one side leaned in further than the other. That is unacceptable. Having a spot on match side to side is just as important to me as having a good set up spec. Adjustable camber (and toe) arms are worth the price of admission for fine tuning capabilities alone.

Sorry for hijacking your thread OP, but I was going to post a new topic about a rear alignment problem I'm facing as well... But first how do you adjust toe and camber in the rear?
Anyone fancy posting a picture with arrows so I can show the shop how to adjust the rear please?
