Maybe I missed this....OP what transmission in current car and what transmission in the new one?

If you are 6A going to 10A I would do it personally - the 10A is a big enough difference from the 6A it does change the car - plus if you are serious about adding performance pack.....I like the gauges in the center of the dash

I have the 6 speed auto. I'm not going to lie, I didn't even know the newer ones had 10 speeds. That much better?

Go test drive one....the difference is huge!! They are over a second faster in the 1/4 mile and 0-60 .....

Makes it feel like you added a supercharger

marry it up to 3.55 diff and you'll swear there was an afterburner button. (well, what the hell, we're spending his money for him...)

Let me tell you - you guys don't make this easy!

I still think I'm leaning towards getting the wrap done and keeping the current car.

Also thinking about just kind of splurging and really putting some mods on this car to keep it new and exciting to me. So far the exhaust, hood struts, and the speedform throttle controller is all that's done. Maybe even replace the exhaust with another one.

Speaking of, and maybe this needs its own thread, my current exhaust that the owner put on before me (Ford Performance, Borla), literally vibrates the entire steering wheel and I can even feel it through the pedals. In addition to the drone, I was kinda thinking this was just how it was with an aftermarket exhaust, but now that I'm starting to upgrade this car, is it possible something regarding the installation was done incorrectly? Maybe something rubbing? Are there maybe better exhaust options for drone and vibration than Borla? I LOVE the sound of this thing, just kinda hate what comes with it.

You might want to check all your clamps. I was having the same issue on my car and 3 days later, I thought my engine went kaput. Turns out the 2 rear clamps on my x-pipe we're so loose that they were separated but hadn't completely fallen off.

I'm thinking it has to be something either rubbing or maybe even completely loose and rattling like you said. I just can't imagine this is normal even for an aftermarket exhaust lol.

Why not just have yours wrapped in Velocity Blue and upgrade the infotainment system to the 2018+ setup? It would save you a lot of money and night even feel like a new car to you. There’s also this upgrade which looks pretty slick. Lastly, I have active exhaust snd rarely cycle, through the modes on it. Most of the time I go,straight to Sport mode and leave it. Perhaps adding the perfect muffler to your car would do the trick for you.

Another advantage of keeping what you have is you avoid the added complexity of the fuel system in the 2018+ which added DI to the engine. Yes, the increased compression and slight increase in displacement adds to the power, but the PI/DI system hasn't been really around long enough for a long term reliability history. You also will have to contend with the #3 cylinder having a short spark plug wire (wonder how much they charge for a replacement plug wire?)

Just did a Google search. They do Rolls, Bentley, Maserati’s, etc. Bet they can do a decent job on a lowly Mustang. 👍😊

Looks pretty glossy to me.

Not to be negative, but everything looks lovely in a pic from 20 feet away.

You only live once why don't you go to Canada and buy one of the hundreds of unsold '21 GTs on the lots with huge available discounts $5-8K for probably the same or close to money you will get for yours
Didn't know that was a thing lol
