First off, I am a car nut...I have been driving for 30 or so years, and have had 15 cars. I picked up my new GT a couple of days ago and I cannot stop staring at the thing. Yesterday, in between playing with my kids and watching playoff football, I think I "took the garbage out" a half dozen times just so I could steal another look at my new car. I have never done this for any of my other 15 cars. Is this normal behavior? Will it wear off after a few days? :)

Probably not, I have had mine for a week and I keep checking the laundry in the garage just so I can look at mine.

Based on my own experience I'd say this is normal. It's a five minute drive to my gym, yet the first week I had my car it would take me more than an hour every time to make it there.

Its a new toy. It happens too all of us. My wife said I love my car more than her, but I assured her that I would eventually get bored of the car and not of her. Its a normal thing to be possessed with your car because it is something "new". Come back after 6 months and we'll revisit the topic and see if you feel the same way.

You absolutely are crazy; watching football is nuts. You're just cheering on people getting brain damage. Stick to baseball!

you are NOT crazy, not this time
you spend a lot of Money and got a lot of joy (at least you are posting this)

you must have been crazy before to spend Money on cars that did not have such an effect on you

I've lived in the same house for over 10 years and accidentally missed my exit. That's just what this thing does to us!

You all are just nuts...

I just took a picture that way if I'm not within viewing distance I can still stare at her on my phone. :)
