I love the Bathurst, they just arent wide enough for me. Especially in a 19" option. Damn these wheel companies for not putting out wider options on 19s.

How do you like those BFGoodrich g-Force Comp 2 A/S tires?
I'm quite happy with them... quiet, grippy, listed as having long tread life :headbang:

I wasn't digging the non-hubcentric design. Love the weight of them though. Went for a set of SC-1's in 20" and love 'em even if they are a pound or two heavier.

No vibrations even though not hubcentric and I'm definitely not worried about breaking the 14mm lug studs. How much did your SC-1s weigh. My wheels and tires came to right around 50lbs total.

first event on the new setup.

front: 18x12 Forgestar CF5 | 315/30R18 Hoosier A7
rear: 18x12 Forgestar CF5 | 335/30R18 Hoosier A7

no rub! :)

apologies on the painter's tape, just a local practice event and the car was dirty so i didn't want to scratch the paint with magnets :)

next up: 18x13 in the rear. under the stock bodywork. with no cutting :D

That looks fantastic. Has me thinking if I am making the right decision going with 20x10.5 rims

i wouldn't consider daily driving this setup - only a few inches of ground clearance on such a short tire, you'd be dragging over every little speed bump, let alone the BIG ones! and i have MUCH stiffer springs than anyone i know on this chassis, too. a softer setup would make it even more compliant and frustrate you with the bumps on the street.

How's it handle?
exactly how you'd expect it to :)

i can take elements @ WOT i have no business taking where my previous 315/11 setup would just spin up and slide. keep in mind i'm making 500whp, too - so i need all the rear tire i can get!

Technically, I'd expect "understeery." Is it understeery?
no. no. even with all things being equal on my setup at the moment :)

my front track is still wider (due to strut interference), but the car is definitely more neutral than it was with 315s square - which is exactly what i was hoping and setting up for. if i was trending understeer, easily fixed with more rear spring (which is #1 on my list, 1600# is *not* enough for me), more rear bar or less front bar. i have lots of dials to turn on my setup :D
