It will take more rpm to get any real gains from cams. is moving peak power to 8000+ with a 9000 redline realistic for a mostly street driven car?
Nobody knows the at .050 duration.
Nor do we know the centerline of the cams.
Cams, Porting the heads, CJ or plazmaman intake, long tubes and tune with race fuel or E85 would easily add 90-100+ rwhp.

I also am not exactly digging for the biggest peak number either. Forgive my illustration skill drawing a "torque curve" but if there was a heads and cam setup that could get me to the red line, I'd take that over the blue.

Green is stock.
Blue I would imagine illustrates a dyno queen.
Red I think is the best balance.

Is there a plazmaman intake for the GT350?
They have a coyote intake.
I’ve been asking and bugging them to try one on a voodoo. Of course they don’t have a voodoo and they didn’t even know what a voodoo was. I sent him a ton of info and that’s as far as it got.

Any updates? It's been more than a Month and the cams should already been ready or at least tested and dynoed

I'm honestly really amazed that there are not GT350 cams out yet. I mean, for comparison it took only 2 years for there to be an option for my 1998 Escort to have 3 shops making cams. It feels like shops are slacking on the Voodoo compaired to older Cobra engines. I could imagine they may think that market isnt there due to limited produciton cars but I mean... a freaking Escort got cam options faster.

I'm not surprised one bit. Engine is a bit of an oddity, not high volume, not much money to be made. L&M and Comp will grind anything from a bare billet rod if you give them EXACT specs from the shaft to the lobes, the core, etc etc. But if the shit is wrong, that's on you of course.

I know JPC is having a custom set of billet cams made for a customer. Heard they were around $3400 for the set.

I haven't personally heard anything from Mike and L&M, tho.

Sounds about right, lots of labor goes into a 1 off cam set, would love to see the numbers though.

I still haven’t seen a headers, cobra jet, e85 car to see just what we can get out of the stock cams.

Well I'm not surprised at all but ya know, numbers are numbers and datz a bit number. I'm willing to bet that the CJ MIGHT carry the top end a bit more but not sure. The GT350 manifold is pretty darn good.

To all who anxiously are awaiting aftermarket cams: I've been obtaining info. past couple weeks after seeing a 1st set on another GT350 forum. Showed cams sent to member w/ fully built sleeved 5.2 w/ Cross plane crank....
Emails back & forth w/ Comp Cams & L&M reveal cams are here. Michael @ L&M does the geometry (lobe angles), sends His grind files to Comp Cams to grind on cores they obtain from their vendor. Michael has 2 sets in possesion as of last week....BOTH are spoken for.
He is placing order for 6 sets of FPC cams. Taking deposits on them. Was to have final pricing by mid last week but I've not gotten response from him yet.
These are mild NA cam but should get great results on boost he states.
IF market interest he says possibly grind
3 OR even 4 more profiles for supercharged / turbo apps.
