AEM DryFlow filter review.

Anybody use the Green Filter panel replacement? It is like 42 shipped off fleabay right now. Make a nice stocking stuffer. .

My last maf lb/min was 49.62 through stock paper filter.

That's impressive. Testament I think to how well the 18 manifold flows. There's probably room for you to increase that.

I pulled my upper box today and cleaned up the (now gone) hydrocarbon trap attachment points and sanded smooth all the injection mold lines. Nothing wrong at all with this stock airbox imo. AEM DryFlow arrives tomorrow. .

I will post up my maf lbs after AEM and cleaned up air box. My last counts was 49.62 through fomoco paper. We will see if we get any improvements.

Ok, was able to get a new log with AEM dry flow with cleaned up upper box (hydrocarbon trap attachment points removed) via sand paper to smooth mold lines etc. My best maf flow rate lb per minute stock oem paper filter was 49.62 and today cracked 51.27. Not bad for stock box and stock exhaust. Improvement for sure in flow. There you have it. .

So, how do I found out what the ppm filtration level is? Is it as good as the OEM paper filter?

If not, wouldn't that technically let more dust through, which decreases the life of your engine?

Can't you just go by the built in mm/Hg guage?
Say whilst idling at operating temperature, more air should give a smaller number?
