Looking to do a CAI with a Lund or Bama Tune. Which of these two CAI and Tunes would you recommend. And coming form a stock Mustang GT what kind of additional HP should I expect?

Thanks, so it seems from everything I've read that CAI does nothing. Why do so many buy them?

It just depends on how far people are taking their cars.
I'm waiting to see how a GT350 CAI and stock CAI compare with the GT350 intake manifold installed to better see the stock CAI characteristics.

I'm a fan of JLT. I did see a noticeable gain from the CAI and Lund tune. Granted I'm sure it was largely in part due to the tune. I think too many people expect massive hp gains from a plastic tube and a filter. It's an easy mod, which is why people jump for it. Some people just like the sound and look of a CAI. That's their thing. To them it's not a waste of money. A lot of my friends come to me wanting to mod their cars and show me a cold air intake. I just tell them if they don't have plans on taking their mods any further don't waste their money. If they have plans of eventually doing additional mods such as headers, cam(s), intake manifold, etc, then yes a CAI is a good place to start, and me personally I like the JLT. C&L was one I had on a foxbody that I liked too. To each their own.

Steeda cai all the way! And please don't put a Bama tune on your car. Steeda or Lund there!

We run JLT's kits on all of our cars and have had great success with them.

We also carry all of the other name brand kits including Airaid, AFe, Steeda and Roush.

So whichever one you choose we can definitely help you out.

Add in a Lund Racing custom tune on their new NGauge and you're gonna love it

We look forward to assist you.

Thanks,
Jared

I'd be really interested to see this test too.

We are running the JLT intake on our Mustang and very happy with it. Picked up 27whp with just the JLT intake and tune.
We also carry AEM but doesn't seem like as many go with that one.

We have them in stock ready to ship if interested.
