  1. Need Some Help With An A/C Issue On My 2017 GT350....

It sounds like they had to extract the broken off studs from the block, which isn't an issue if they did it correctly and then just replaced them with new OEM studs. If you drove it home I really don't think you'll have any issues in the future.

Good point, do you you know where the evap drain is located under the car?

Get them to re-gas and add dye check. They did this with mine and after it went warm again I flashed a UV torch at the front pulley and it was completely covered in fluorescent dye check indicating that the seals in the compressor were gone.

Does it make the force required to activate the clutch feel lighter or can you just feel the clutch engagement point better?
  5. Second key fob in car confuses air conditioning!

It was only having an effect though when I had two key fobs in the car at the same time.
  6. Second key fob in car confuses air conditioning!

I'm not sure if this has ever been noted before so I'll detail what I experienced. I am shifting houses (1500km apart) and I was driving to my new house with both key fobs in the car, (one of which had a low battery warning in the remote occurring every time I hopped in the car). The air...

The standard setup is adjustable from the factory it just has a small range that's all. It's normally hard to get anywhere near -1.7º from an angle less than -1.7º but given that you're at -2.1º then you should be able to get back to -1.7º without having to buy the camber adjustment kit. Most...

I'm surprised your rear is -2.1º, it's usually hard to get them close to the required -1.7º

I also bought my AWE exhaust from them. The rear hangers cracked all the way through on the mufflers. I emailed AWE in the US with photo's and my receipt from SAA, a few weeks later brand new replacements turned up via Fedex. AWE direct were absolutely fantastic in dealing with my warranty issue...
  10. Australian All In 17 build (Pic Heavy)

Isn't that getting up a little too high on 11:1 comp ratio? And yep you're right, you can only get more boost in if you can get it out the back fast.

  14. Aussie Exhausts

Yes LT's apparently add some extra to the mix. Be careful with LT's as I've read that on the RHD cars the clearance is super tight and they can sometimes contact and then the knock sensor registers a false knock and then does weird things to the engine timing.

It would shit me no end having to clean that off every day just to drive to work. And how do you stop the floor inside getting all wet and stinky?
  16. Aussie Exhausts

Yes very happy with it, it's not overly loud, just a very nice rumble. It has gotten a bit louder after a couple of years now though but only just a tad. The only time it is loud is on a cold start up in winter when the car is in my colorbond shed, but that's only for a few minutes until the...
  17. Aussie Exhausts

I got mine from Scuderia Autoart but I don't think they import them any more which is a shame as I have heard heaps of aftermarket exhausts and they are the best sound in my opinion, I get numerous compliments per week on mine. Give them a call and see if they can put you onto one or at the...

  20. Tips For Reading Oil Level

I usually let the car sit for about 10 minutes before I dip but I can see what you mean by not being able to see where the oil ends, I usually flip the dip stick over and find that it is easier to see where the oil ends on the blank side. The marked side for me is always patchy with oil but the...
