Covert Ford in Austin stated they wanted a $50k markup. Yes. 50. I have the text still on my phone. They didn’t even ask me which options or anything.

Start at 50k, negotiate down to 20k, and the buyer thinks they are getting a great deal.

That’s debate-able depending on the adm paid if someone chose’s to. I bought my reg 350 under msrp. Paid 7k over for my HepR. Didn’t have a second thought in paying it. Car is way north of what a paid with the adm and tax’s. I get not wanting to pay it. I wouldn‘t pay over 10k.. I probably would pay a 10k adm for a cftp. The reality is when you start getting in to the financial range of some of these cars 10k really doesn‘t matter. I didn’t purchase either of my cars with the anticipation of ever selling them, so for me down the road price isn’t a concern. For many because of professional lives and commitments the free time to enjoy these cars is a premium. Hard to put a price on that in my opinion. Life’s short.

Yes, your in the GT500 forum. Trying calling back those same dealers and see what if their answer is remains the same.

wrong. post up real offers for this MSRP on a GT500 you speak of. cars posted at MSRP are 99% not that. later.

Did you say no adm on a Z06? (Joke) I’m in for one of those too. The local dealers in central FL have ADM’s close to 6 figures for a Z06.

my local dealer is wanting to do 5k adm and I originally brushed that off. Ain’t paying more than sticker lol.
But…
After reading this calling around and hearing mark ups from surrounding dealers for as much as 25k.
starting to re consider.

I said the same thing and paid some ADM and did not regret it. Looks like you are coming from a 20 GT. Dude! No comparison…you will LOVE the GT500. Like go out there and snack one that’s already on the dealer lot that meets your needs. : warm weather driving season is coming fast.

Just had this convo at my Chevrolet dealer. Ordered our 2015 C7 Z51 Vert M-7 new from them. They are a MSRP dealer. I asked about the Z06. I was told they will sell me one at MSRP BUT I need to make a charitable donation to an organization on their list they give you. That donation has to be $50k. Oh, I would be number 21 in line on the waiting list if I did it that day.

MSRP deals on the 22 GT500 are out there. Myself and a couple others have secured them. The frustrating part is the waiting game. Below MSRP? LOL. You're probably a brother in law to the GM or something.

I hear you, paid sticker for my 350R and raptor. kills me to pay over sticker but if I want a 500 im probably going to have to at this point. 5k isn't bad but sometimes you can work with dealers to buy other things like warranties or maintenance plans instead of completely throwing your money away on adm. im going to look at a leftover soon and im gonna try to work them down that way to at least get some value.
