Hi All,

I have un-expectantly found myself fortunate enough to be in the market for a 2020 CFTP GT500 (bittersweet story for another day).

For those that have taken the plunge, how have you handled the ADM situation, and what has been your outcome? At this point in time, ADM seems to be a guarantee for the CFTP, but I certainly won’t entertain some of the absurd $20-50K markups that I’ve seen. I imagine most of you fine people have not given into those amounts either. After all, a car is only worth what someone will pay for it, right? LOL

Feel free to PM me if you don’t want to disclose information publicly. Thanks in advance!

Here we go.....

You are going to find many different opinions and heated for that matter.

If you are asking how much other people paid? I would say the average for a base is MSRP to 5K. Some more some less. There is no hard number.

Pay what you can afford and what you are willing to part with. That's it, nothing more to see here, move along.

Agree with Tomster. Whether to pay ADM is certainly a personal decision. You are unlikely to find a GT500 that is not asking for at least $5K ADM on a base. There are edge cases but that was my experience in purchasing a base. I paid $5K ADM. They started at $10K and I never budged off of $5K. The car was local and had all the options I wanted. Yes, I'm sure if I had spent some hours (not sure how many) looking around the southeast I could have found one cheaper. Ultimately, I got the deal done in a very short period of time, have a local relationship and I'm happy.

After spending some time with this amazing car, I don't even think about the ADM.

My original order was a 12K ADM, but in May, I was fortunate enough that a member here let go their allocation and gave it to me which had a 1K ADM which I dropped mine and took his considering it was exactly the same order.

Thanks guys. This gives me a pretty good idea of where to set expectations.

Also, apologies for posting a repeat topic - I did a forum search before posting this but none of the helpful posts shown in the "similar threads" below came up for me!

Here is a CFTP GT500 for $10,000 ADM or LESS!!!
A friend of mine looked at it a couple days ago and they called my friend back to say they would sell it for MSRP.
I don’t know for sure if you can but that is what my friend told me.
They want to sell the car by the end of the year.
They are willing to deal.
Hope this helps somebody.

Here is the link and a few pictures.

My suggestion is to wait till 04 Jan. That is the start of the '21 MY production. At that point, the '20 units are 1 yr old in value, regardless of build date to a finance company. As such, the cars on the lots loose value. You will find more dealers willing to negotiate. Also, the TX dealers have to pay a floor tax on all unsold models. That is why they have those crazy ass post new years sales here in TX

Mike,
How do you know about the taxes on unsold 1 year old cars in Texas dealers? Do you work in the industry?

Thanks,

My local Sheehy has 2 almost identical GT500 in ruby. One with painted stripes, one with vinyl as the only difference, I think. Rediculous 25k ADM of course. Though I joked, hey would you throw in the 2018 Ducati Multistrada sitting next to the cars if I buy one? "Sure, no problem." Heh. So the ADM would only be about 10-15k. Huge, I tell ya. /joke
