Anyone have tips on getting a pillar trim back in especially at the base of the windshield ?

Luck... just a little bit and it will follow. I had to push in multiple times and once its in right, the rest follows up. Most pointy side in first and wipe wind shield later because there will be lots of scratch marks.

Its a bit easier starting to put it in place coming from the middle of the dash/windshield area rather than from the front seat.

Huge pain in the ass. If you look down through the windshield from the outside you will be able to see where the clip has to go. Have someone watch from outside and try to direct you when lining it up.

In case anyone needs it for future reference:

Thanks, I needed this! My tint installer didn't put this trim back on correctly after putting film on the windshield. I was afraid of pushing in the wrong place and bending something.

Good info. I was wondering how to remove it without breaking something.

Need to run my N-gauge wire.
