I understand that and thank you. It's the splicing that you mentioned that I'm am trying to avoid. At this point the molex connectors look like the only viable option.

I do want the signal behind the radio. These will go to my DSP and amps then back to the speaker harness. I need a connector for that as weel I can't go back to factory amp then speakers.

I'm interested. I need something to connect line and speaker out from the head unit, bypass the amp then same back in.

Why aren't the Molex connectors not the best choice? What is your custom built connector? How expensive? Thanks!

What connectors do I need to accomplish this? Bypassing the amp is the correct way to upgrade I assume.
