I absolutely love working on my cars and doing as much work myself as possible, but when I bought my Bullitt the dealership offered me a pre-paid oil change offer. First, I trust this dealership's service department- it is one of the good ones that has car lovers managing and working there...
@Viper What's the name of this place so the rest of us can avoid it? or at least what are is it in? Too bad this kind of crap still happens, glad to hear you got some money back. I recommend reporting this to the BBB, as well. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you clean the crank case by...
So my question is, do you love the car for who it was when it was born, or how it presents itself to the world now? It isn't the car's fault it doesn't look like all the other Bullitts, right?
Purchased mine off the lot in San Antonio, Tx in April 2019. Left it in storage while I moved to Hawaii last year and will pick it up when I move back in 2023. Molly and I will grow old together and be passed on to the kids.
I started with a Steeda H-Pipe paired to factory Active Exhaust and found that to suit my needs. Very pleased with cabin-level noise and lack of drone. Sounds amazing, Quiet mode for the neighbors, Sport for me.

Lousy video, but I put in the Steeda H-Pipe and love it. Gave me exactly the deeper muscle tone I was looking for. It did not raise interior sound, unless it's on Track mode and the windows are down...which is pretty much all of the time lol. I have it set to always start on quiet so I don't...
18 months, 20K miles, Steeda H-pipe, and a custom rear seat delete/dog bed for my dane, I love this car and see it bringing me smiles for a long time. No matter my mood getting in, I smile every time I start it up. Very pleased with my purchase.
1) Set up your MyMode with Track exhaust
2) Turn on accessories by pressing the start button one time with the gears in neutral and clutch pedal up
3) Use selector switch to select MyMode
4) Depress clutch pedal and start car
5) Smile
I just put the Steeda '18-'20 H-Pipe on my Bullitt and couldn't be happier. I put the pipe on myself using oil-change ramps, two wrenches and a Sawzall in under 2 hours. Would have been a little quicker if I had my reading glasses on...
The deep Bullitt tone got a little deeper and louder...
I remember reading that Ford had to limit the amount of air coming into the front grill to reduce the chance of the hood lifting. I'd like to open up the front grill a little to let more air in and thought those GT500 hood pins would work to keep the lid on.
I have it in my '19 Bullitt and love it. I turn it off every once in a while to see if I really need it. After the first stoplight, it's turned back on :-)
If your Rev Match is turning off by itself, schedule an appointment and go get it fixed. It should not turn off by itself...mine never...
As the owner of a Shadow Black Bullitt, please believe me when I say that I believe that you all see the Dark Highland Green as a beautiful shade. To people with color blindness, it looks like sparkly poo. The Shadow Black, when compared to the DHG, is a beautiful, deep black with pretty blue...
