  1. Intermittent Dead Clutch Pedal

Unfortunately in my case there are no leaks or disappearing brake fluid, I was hoping for a simple fix, though that doesn't necessarily mean air isn't getting in without leaking fluid out. The clutch has been bled many times and doesn't make a difference. Since these cars use a hydraulic throw...
  2. Intermittent Dead Clutch Pedal

I have that issue with mine. It started out happening once every few months, but now happens almost every morning and takes a round of pumping the peddle to get it back to how it's supposed to be. I've never taken it in to be looked at since it started after my warranty was up and I have a...
  3. Precision-Turbonetics NX2 turbo EcoBoost build thread

Among other things that Ford uses to monitor if a car has been tuned, one of the main things they check is the number of start cycles since the last ECU flash. Unless you have extremely low miles and run through a number of ignition cycles before going in, they'll know right away. Also, "my...
  4. Anyone using an MGW with steeda or similar trans bushing?

I have an MGW X-spec and a Boomba trans mount. They work really well, but using the two together won't have any impact on what you're explaining since the shifter is solid mounted to the trans, so moves directly with the trans, and the clutch is hydraulic. I don't know what might be causing the...
  5. Can’t find tire pressure display on dash menu

Assuming you don't have the digital cluster, go into the main gauge menu where it shows the list of gauges and scroll up or down till the tire pressure monitor shows.
  6. Is the dipstick on a 2.0 different length than 2.3?

The balance shaft assembly is located below the crank, down in the oil pan. I'm having a hard time finding a picture that shows just how far it hangs down, but this gives you an idea of where it's located. It's right above the oil pump pickup.
  7. Floppy Clutch Peddle

    Yep, stock clutch.
  8. Floppy Clutch Peddle

It's a 2018, I forgot that I do have the Steeda assist spring too, though the factory perch. I plan to check everything out this weekend, though I was hoping to go another 5k miles before doing the brake fluid to get to an even 50k.
  9. Floppy Clutch Peddle

I haven't found anything from search (maybe I'm bad at that). I'm having a rare issue with my clutch peddle where I'll go to push the clutch in, and it's hanging half way through the travel. I can grab it and it's completely loose for the first half like it's not connected to anything, but the...
  10. Is the dipstick on a 2.0 different length than 2.3?

Does the engine have the balance shafts? If those were removed, it'll hold more oil.
  11. Best Intake Growl for Ecoboost?

You're probably not going to get the intake growl you're looking for, but any open element intake is going to make a noticeable sucking noise anytime the turbo starts spooling up. This will be completely for noise though as you'll probably lose a little performance from sucking in hot air from...
  12. Change oil without draining?

I started using an extractor through the dipstick tube when I got my 09 VW Jetta. The oil filter was on the top of the engine, so using the extractor allowed me to change the oil in just a few minutes without having to get under the car. I did check the first time by pulling the drain plug after...
  13. HOW MUCH TORQUE TO MAKE THE STOCK CLUTCH SLIP

I don't know what mine's making for torque, but my mods are in my signature. I haven't had any clutch slipping at all, even on a prepped track, though I don't have the stickiest tires in the world either.
  14. EB Oil filter removal - any way to stop the gush of oil?

Punching a hole in the filter sounds like a good way to go. I've been using a Ziploc bag around mine to catch everything that comes out while removing the filter. For the bigger filter, the FL-400S is a good replacement, if you prefer Wix, I go with the 51516XP. Both will take an even 6 quarts.
  15. How long should I let my car warm up before driving?

I let mine drop down to a normal idle before driving, then stay out of boost until the oil is up to 140 degrees, which is just about the start of the "normal" zone on the dash.
  16. V6

Like I said, we don't have 93 octane on the West Coast, the highest we get is 92, and 92 is only 20 cents more than 87 in a lot of places.
  17. V6

What kind of fuel mileage do the V6's get? I get 34mpg on the freeway with my Ecoboost. We don't have 93 octane here, but 92 is usually only 20 cents a gallon more than regular. Figuring a 16 gallon tank, that's only $3.20 more per tank for 92 over 87 octane.
  18. V6

I love when the "true Mustang enthousiasts" come out in these threads stating that Ford ruined the Mustang by offering engines other than a V8 for the first time ever in the S550. These people obviously know nothing about Mustangs and are happy to show it by being blind to the fact that the...
  19. V6

    You're thinking of the Boss 429, the Boss 302 was definitely not a 385 series (370, 429, 460).
  20. MGW experience/suggestions

Here are some pictures of neutral, 3rd, and 4th on mine for reference on height and throw.
