I keep seeing sound clips for this system on Instagram with people trying to hype them up, and all I hear is straight piped VQ mixed with 2000s civic.

Well... Iām doing my best not to completely bash this setup because, to be fair, the craftsmanship is absolutely top notch. The quality of the fabrication and attention to detail are honestly impressive.Wonder if this guy/company knows he just lost an entire community? @TreeFiddyAre are you gonna provide all this feedback back up the chain? Honestly by the looks of the total overall header tube lengths Iād wager the 8-4-1 is limiting the power peak to the 6,500 rpm range. Not exactly in the VooDoo or Coyote happy zone.I think it starts to come alive above 6,500 rpm, but unfortunately I havenāt been able to really explore that because the car is currently fighting me with a P0300 code after the install

Iāve heard a Voodoo setup with OEM manifolds ,no cats and the factory mufflers, and it was doable . It definitely picks up some volume and aggression, but there is a little more rasp compared to stock. Basically, you gain some personality but sacrifice a little refinement in the process⦠and at this point, Iāll happily make that trade ...now with Longtubes I am sure I will want to work on the exhaust more in time .I'll be curious how that setup sounds. Any car with long tubes/no cats just sounds terrible anywhere but the track. But I've never heard one with the stock mufflers back on, which I think it porbably one of the best sounding exhausts ever made.
And yes, the IG post sounds just awful.
