Have you tried maxing out both the C/R on the rear shock with the lower tire pressure ?
You’re still running a drag radial ?

@PickleGT, those are good passes! So, lowering the launch rpm and shifting at 7700-7800 dropped your 60’ and increased mph? Do you have any weight reduction done to the car?

best 60 compared to last time out was only .01 better so that could have been from the better weather/rpm/tire pressure/ shock settings/ margin or error run to run

race weight last night should have been 3500

had shift light set to 7450 and crossing the line at 8000 in 3rd

Aftermarket shift light or the one in Track Apps? My shift light only goes to 7200 in Track Apps.

I’ve sent emails with videos and time slips out to Grant at Clutch Tamer and Kelly at KellTrac, so they can see what my car is actually doing on launch and hopefully help me get the clutch and drag shocks dialed in.

One thing is for sure, getting out of the hole on a manual tranny car is a lot more difficult than people think it is. There are just so many variables. That is why I added the Hitmaster to begin with, so that I could have repeatability.

Your 3500 race weight is light compared to my estimated 3875 or so. I’ll have to weigh it at some point to get exact numbers.

Any pics of how you have the light mounted? I have a WOT Box too and should be able to easily add one. I may look into this myself.

Nothing from me either, aside from a fuel pump failure on Thursday, just hours before I was to head out to the drag strip.
