I'm looking at beaters right now too, I got rid of my truck in the summer and I don't think I want all the salt on the car when it gets to be snow time. I've driven my car for about 3 weeks total and already have 5000 miles on it :(

What wheels are those?>

Gunmetal Forgestar CF 10s.

Awesome not saving it for the next guy!! The auto has been flawless and fun as well?
No problems whatsoever with the auto trans. And it has been fun especially after the tune. I like using the paddle shifters.

Driving the mustang much too often. Work and fun have equaled to 60k miles in almost exactly 2 years. 10/11/14 purchase date. No complaints. LMR tune sine 30k. Impressed how car has held up. No real mechanical problems and after taking it to dealer at 60k when they cleaned out the fuel injection system, the car is running best it ever has. Just have to drive my other car more. No hurry to get to 100k.
No worries. 100k isn't the end of the road for modern engines.

If you enjoy the car, drive it. Life is too short.
Plus you can always buy a new engine or rebuild this one when necessary...after 250k? Will be interesting to see how the Coyote holds up long term. Looking great so far...

30k a year! Now that's driving that thing. It's maintenance not mileage that matters the most.
Agreed. I take it to dealer every 5000 miles for oil change and whatever else. Full synthetic, royal purple. I hope eventual buyer appreciates maintenance but I need to drive it less.

You said you got fuel system cleaned? With the EB and the carbon buildup did you notice any problems as you got up in the miles? And how exactly did they clean it out and how much did you pay?
I didn't really notice any problems but I sure noticed the difference after they cleaned out the system. When I first picked it up it was sputtering a little getting rid of dirty fuel I was told. Then after a couple of miles started running smooth with quick throttle response. So there was clogging.
They cleaned fuel injectors and flushed out system for $110.

They will, but don't rely on dealer maintenance records. Keep your own records. I kept a binder on every car I've ever owned and include it with the vehicle when I trade it in. Sometimes it makes a difference, other times not so much but even if it doesn't it's a record that stays with the car.

That's good news, we need high mileage mustangs to see where future problems may lie.

I have had my car for a year and a month and I'm at 43k miles and it's been trouble free except for the fan speed controller and cooled seats.

I hit 30,000 miles at one year of ownership...so far, Front brake squeal TSB, Blower motor, Rear Camera replaced...oil changes, and one transmission fluid flush on the MT82, and one set of tires....it's rock sold. Expensive, but really nice. I'm hoping for 250,000+ miles, and I think it's very do-able.

I know a guy with a 2012 F150 5.0 - he tows a large enclosed trailer, and fills the bed and cab with parts, delivering to dealers and repair shops...in the texas hill country...he has - at this point, probably 200,000 miles on his truck...it has had a water pump replaced.
