The minimum distance from the ground is 20", my TX sits just under 27". That has definitely been an issue with some of the exotics trying to keep that minimum distance. For the Mustangs, the fit is just fine.
I apologize in advance for the image heavy response but I am an industrial documentation specialist so it's hazard of the job.

I've deployed various Lidar jamming systems for almost 20 years. They can be a mixed bag if they aren't installed correctly. Many operators of these devices go overboard to stealth out the install and end up compromising the performance of the jammers. The general guide is stealth the car not...
Contemplating making this jump as well. I need a bump in power but probably not the best time in the market to be showing up in a new car. Just quietly replace my black 16 GT with a black GT350 and maybe 8 people in the whole company will notice. :giggle:
Not a close call but could have been given the speeds I usually run at this exit. I was being less douchey today as I was relaxing to some John Denver. Language is NSFW
That 2nd gen Toyota MR2 was so famously unstable Car and Driver did a side bar on it after they wrecked one. Generally the first mod owners would do was to upgrade to a staggered wheel and tire setup. Even then it was hairy. I dated a girl with one but I never got enough wheel time to get used...
@accel, the situation might have been aggravated by an undetectable road condition and/or road properties. You get a little wheel spin going then it starts stepping out on you.
For instance, down here on very humid days sometimes composite pavement type roads will lose their bite and feel...
Yep, you nailed it. I was a BMW tech years ago so obviously the M4 is on the table and the Audi RS5 as well if I can find a good used sample. However what I really grew to love about this Mustang was it's character. It's has this kind of analog quality that missing from the BMW and the Audi...
Actually I'll be in one in about an hour. My co-worker has a 17 GT350 and we go to lunch every other Friday. I've driven his car and really like the upgrade in performance. I've asked him about daily driving it and he's confident it's up to the task but he's also a desk jockey so only puts about...
My job requires me to drive between Houston, Dallas, Austin Beaumont and San Antonio at least once a month. I used to fly SWA but then security and delays got to be too much of a hassle so I opted to expense out the mileage and drive it. That's a lot of hours in a car so I opt to drive something...
Uniden R7 started delivering yesterday. It's looking like a game changer for those that like filtering, frequency and arrows. It's kind of expensive though.
I never thought to snap a pic of it but our mail room guy at our old office put an M badge on his 7 series. Clipped the 50i off the 7 and hobbled together an M7 badge. Already horrid looking it was further enhanced by the faded paint which still revealed the outline of the 50i. I believe that...
I've done it for 35 years of driving manuals and never had a problem. In fact it was recommended on the Porsche to keep that IMS shaft rotating cleanly in the bearing. Cars new owner is still on the stock bearing so I guess it worked.
Coming from a BMW sport wagon, once I got the Mustang I get a whole lot more attention from cops. A ton of laser in use down here and they'll usually shoot me first in a pack of cars. I've had then shoot past a truck passing me then shoot me again and it's not uncommon for them to turn and shoot...
I'm 53 and had performance cars all my life. There's no reprieve from trash talk no matter what your age. It's started with "Is that your daddy's car?" to "Compensating for something?" to "Midlife crisis much?" You just gotta roll with it.
Always loved Magnum PI's 308 GTS. I watched the show just for the car because back then in my neck of the woods you'd never see anything more exotic than a Camaro.... maybe a Corvette once a year.
