I hear a lot about the 5.0 going bad even with low miles on them. Is it really a big problem?

+1 Not sure where you are āhearingā this but the 5.0 Coyote is one of the strongest engines around.Nonsense.
Who do you hear this from and what have they done to them? And what exactly is "going bad"?? Does that mean blowing up and sending a rod through the block?I hear a lot about the 5.0 going bad
As others have requested, please define the statement, "I hear a lot about the 5.0 going bad..." better. And please provide a reference with quantitative analysis (failure rates, miles, reasons for failure, etc.)..People are stating issues with 5.0? Please reference them, not those people, but those specific statements and information.I hear a lot about the 5.0 going bad even with low miles on them. Is it really a big problem?
You might be talking about the oil pump gears, as oiling in general is very good on the Coyote especially Gen 3s with the bigger pan.I think it is oiling but not entirly sure
Don t get it confused with the 5.2!!! LOLI hear about it on this forum. Replacing engines under warrenty. I think it is oiling but not entirly sure
The only way to tell is taste it.Hey wait a sec, just checked my engine, I'm starting to see some brown spots here and there and the block feels soft a squishy in places.. is it past ripe?
