Huh. Never noticed any hood flutter when I took mine off. Might need to adjust the bump stops on the hood but I’m curious now if the cover has any airflow design in it. Considering the Mach and the Bullitt came with no such cover, I would assume not. They use the same hood and vents too.

I couldn’t agree more. I never liked the look of that thing but figured it must be there to dampen tics and other engine noises. At any rate, I removed mine.
I had mine removed for a while but then I put it back so it wasn't taking up space in my garage. It actually makes a great table for oil bottles and stuff lol

Yeah, no man...I was kidding. I do have hood flutter even at reasonable highway speeds, but it's been there since day 1. Bumpstop adjustment is in this car's future for sure.

I do like those. Been contemplating adding them to mine. Bemaro Films makes overlays for the lettering and they have them in most of the body colors (they have the orange for the FJG Mach’s).

I added the Bemaro colored lettering, kinda sets the covers apart.

Looks really good!
Thanks, I have never liked the stock engine cover, it's huge and it covers the oil dip stick. I plan on rerouting some of the plumbing away from the TB, to give as clean a look as possible, not much more you can do with the rats nest of hoses and cables on these motors. I believe that is the main reason the giant cover was added, even the engineers gave up on cleaning it up.

Yeah it’s quite the rats nest. And only so much you can do to clean it up unfortunately.
