2022 Official Mach 1 Order Tracking Thread

Drilling the front facade on Skye for the license plate is a definite no.

I've been studying bracket options this evening.

STO N SHO has a great produce line. I did not see a Mach 1 install product for the HP (they DO have one for non-HP). This has to do with the additional splitter in the front.

ZL1 AddOns has a setup which I think is going to work. I have an e-mail out to them now. ZL1 has a product which uses the tow hook mount. If I understand everything correctly, we can use a tow hook, remove it, and place the bracket back using the same mount. It's bolt on and bolt-off. No drilling. Just a wrench.

This post is to show the tow hook cover and how to remove it, exposing the factory mount. The tow hook cover can be removed with fingers. On the right side of the cover, press down on the BUMPER. Then, use your other hand to pull the top of the cover out and down. Then pull up to remove the bottom of the cover from its tabs.

You'll notice the cover has a triangle-shaped tab, to keep it from falling out. It's kind of springy. Using a pick-like tool, you can bring one edge out at a time and completely remove the cover. With that, you can immediately bolt the bracket or hook in-place.

I like the idea of using the same mount for either tow hook or license bracket. Seems kind of cool on the side and not centered. Definitely like the idea not having holes anywhere.

That's exactly what I did when I lived In NY on my Cobra. I was stopped a few times for other reasons (?) with Law Enforcement and fortunately did not have a problem. NY is a two plate
state and I had the front plate in the car but was never asked "where is the front plate?"

Arizona is a one plate state, so my plate worries are over now!

I wish I could do this here. If I recall correctly, in NH, cops can just smack you with a $150 ticket on the spot if you don’t have your front plate on for any reason. We had a bill submitted a couple years ago to get rid of the front plate but our local and state police lobbied against it… So I’ll likely have to be doing the Sto-n-sho unless I am going outside of NH.

This God-forsaken state’s motto should actually be “Give fee or die”, not “Live free or die”.

I have Craig's Custom Mustang Bracket on my Mach 1. Much better than Sto-n-Sho if you have minimal ground clearance. Easy on, easy off. And don't have to worry about NH Staties.

From Reuters today. This article highlights wait times in EUR along with some concepts auto makers are experimenting with to reduce. It involves limiting choices and options to simplify supply chains and inventories.

At one extreme, we have examples noted in this article. At the other, we have other makers which give seemingly countless options to consider.

From a manufacturer perspective, I can appreciate the difficulty of finding the sweet spot. Cars like the Mustang and trucks like the F150, people sometimes gravitate to several of the unique or less-chosen combinations. The F150 alone, you probably need a degree in math to figure out the number of combinations possible.

How long has or is anyone waiting for their car to be delivered from Kansas City rail yard to Granger. Mines been sitting there 2 weeks today. I know all the reasons blah blah blah just curious what other experiences have been

Mine is supposed to ship there this week according to the tracker. Is there a better way to see where it's stuck?

all of you picking up your Mach 1s and planning on road tripping it back... might want to include a pair of jumper cables

my battery is dead-o 4 days after getting it from the dealership. went to get the car tinted yesterday and had to jump it, both to get it there and to get it home. taking it to the dealership tomorrow AM for them to look at it. no electronics left on etc, so something is squirrely

Our sales person called to set a time to get together this afternoon. I asked her, again, about the $10k ADM on our special order Mach 1. She said they are willing to only charge a $7500 ADM. Told I wasn't going to pay ANY ADM and to go back to whoever told that and tell them what I said. I got a very timid "Ok, I can try." She said the ADM is because it's a Mach 1. I again told her it's a SPAICAL ORDER and NOT a Mach 1 they have setting on the lot. Looks like I may have to go with our back plan.
